Dr. Kanai was amazing to say the least. Truly listens to her patients and cares. Highly recommend!
Dr. Kanai is amazing. We were on the waitlist for Riley (>9 months estimated wait) and were struggling. I begged my son’s physician to find us somewhere than had better availability and that’s how we found Dr. Kanai. I think we booked our appointment 2-3 months out which is nothing in comparison. We had our evaluation which was comfortable for everyone and we discussed the awkward or difficult to discuss things with ease (she gets it on a personal level). She followed up regularly and we went back and forth as she completed her final report. The final report was very detailed and helpful as we navigate the short-term future. The school was flabbergasted also during our IEP meeting and said her report was the best and most detailed they had ever encountered. Overall I’m so happy we luckily ended up with Dr.Kanai. It’s also worth noting that her minimal google reviews had me nervous prior to our evaluation—so I posted in a special needs of Indy fb group to inquire about her practice and was given so many amazing reviews which speaks much louder than my one review does.
