We absolutely love our therapists and the child led environment of KC:DT. It’s about a 25-30 min drive from where we live but totally worth it. My child always looks forward to going and asks to go frequently.

We travel nearly 30 mins each way just to see them. Words cannot express how grateful we are to the team. My son had to miss one appointment, which I didn't think to mention so I was surprised that he remembered. When he realized, he was heartbroken and said "but I've been looking forward to it all week!" Rebecca has been an incredible, trusted OT and advocate for our son. She goes out of her way to answer questions and offer guidance. I genuinely appreciate Rebecca's ND affirmative perspective that "When kids are properly regulated, they really do want to do well -- and the behavior issues tend to resolve themselves." Our son additionally receives speech services at KC-DT. They've been very accommodating to try and schedule sessions efficiently for our family. Elaina has been so wonderful from day one. She even infuses opportunities to improve his executive functioning skills into her speech sessions, which is incredible and very much appreciated!!

Absolutely love KCDT! They have been instrumental in our daughter's development and progress.

This is one of the greatest places for kids in Kansas City. The therapists are loving, kind, patient, and really make you feel part of the family. No question is ever unanswered, and my kids are literally obsessed with going. Highly recommend if you need any kind of help with your kids.

The people here are awesome, always in a good mood and ready to help others.

Probably the biggest compliment we can give KC:DT is that we're willing to drive 30 minutes each way to see them! Our son has been receiving speech, occupational, and physical therapy at KC:DT for over 1 year and our family's experiences with all 3 therapists have been overwhelmingly positive! They've allowed us to be as involved in therapy sessions as we'd like, they've made themselves available to us when we've had questions, and they've always offered encouragement to our family. The most common thing we tell others about KC:DT is we're so happy that they're part of our TEAM! Our son loves the play-based therapy sessions and his therapists have given him a chance to reach his full potential (whatever that might be). We can't recommend them highly enough!

I absolutely love the therapists at KC:DT. They are so knowledgeable and are leaders for others in the field. I also love the play-based, relationship-based approach and their emphasis on continuing education for their providers.
