We have been at kara dodds for around 6 years for speech and ot services for my daughter on the spectrum . The staff is so friendly and the therapist are all amazing. My daughter loves working with Stephanie! I recommend kara dodds to any one looking for services.

Used to love this place but not anymore, they change there recommendations without consulting parents and make decisions without again consulting parents, they took my sons 2 days a week and said he can only come once when he was thriving with the 2, would not recommend this place what so ever Also to respond to the owner, my insurance has unlimited visits actually and the recommendations were made without me and my son stopped thriving, once you put a new SLP lead is when this all went down hill so just FYI

My son’s speech therapy experience has been amazing. The team is so organized and thoughtful when it comes to his needs, and they always make sure he feels supported. They are very accommodating and flexible with scheduling, which has been such a big help for our family. His therapist truly understands what my son needs and knows exactly how to guide him in developing his speech. A special thank you to Jerica and the front desk staff for their excellent professionalism and kindness every visit. We are so grateful for their dedication and care!

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here and recommend going somewhere else if you want to be treated like an actual customer. Amirah, the speech therapist, was very kind, and polite and my daughter seemed to feel comfortable with her. However, it was only 3 interactions with scheduling and the front desk that made me cancel all future appointments. When we were first being scheduled, we spoke with Ashley. It was impossible to hear her over the phone and she was not very friendly and she gave us the wrong address to their San Diego location. So, right from the start we didnt have a good experience. As requested, we came in 30 minutes early for our first appointment to fill out paperwork. When we arrived, one lady was in the way back on a computer behind the front desk. She did not acknowledge us. I sat down and waited and was never given any paperwork to complete. Eventually around our appointment time Amirah came out to grab us. Although, Amirah was great to work with, our appointments seemed rushed and we're never 30 minutes. I live about 30 minutes away and I feel as if it took longer to get there than how long the actual appointments was for. The last straw that made me cancel all future appointments was my last interaction with Kendra. I called because Amirah recommended two 30 minute appointments a week. Instead, since I lived far away I suggested one hour appointment a week instead. Amirah said that is fine and to call the front desk to schedule. When I did I was told she (Kendra) needed to speak with Amirah and would get back with me. Well, I am still waiting on that call back. After canceling my future appointments and telling the lady on the phone my concerns I have yet to hear back from anyone apologizing or trying to further understand any miscommunication, if any. I feel bad for the therapist at this location because if I had only dealt with kind people like them I wouldn't of wanted to find another speech therapist for my daughter. We will never return to Kara Dodds.
