They are not trained to deal with all children just ones they hand pick after waiting two years to get in im so glad we decided to go to a much better and accepting facility

After waiting two years to get into this program, I was very disappointed with our experience. The way staff assignments were made did not align with my family’s values or what I felt was appropriate for my young child. When I voiced concerns, I did not feel respected as a parent. This is not a place that puts children and families first — it pushes its own priorities no matter what parents say. I would strongly caution any parent before trusting this facility with their child. Ultimately, I decided to withdraw. Families considering this program should ask detailed questions up front to make sure it’s the right fit for their child and their household. In my opinion, this facility cares more about pushing its own agenda than about truly listening to parents.

We love OT with Ms. Sandra. My daughter has a sensory processing disorder and Ms. Sandra has been wonderful for helping my daughter learn coping strategies and for helping give me suggestions on what to try and home and school. My daughter loves her sessions and sees them as play. She can't wait to come every week!

We can’t thank the therapists enough at Kaufman. We had never heard of apraxia until our son was diagnosed. Kaufman was so helpful in navigating what to do and how to do it. We’ve seen so much improvement in our son’s speech and motor skills in one short year. The therapists are so kind and helpful and truly love the kids they see. We are so grateful and can’t recommend Kaufman enough.

I can't believe I have never reviewed Kaufman! My son has been going here for 5 years. He has Childhood Apraxia of Speech, among other things. We drive 45 minutes to an hour twice a week. Words can not express the gratitude that we have towards Kaufman. They are exceptional! He had Sandra for OT and Kristi for speech. Kristi ended up moving away, so our son was assigned to Erin. We have been with Erin for the past 4 years. Kristi is now back! Every single one of them is amazing at what they do. We HIGHLY recommend them!!! We will be moving to a new practice after all of these years to go closer to home. It is bitter sweet. We don't want to leave because of how far our son has come, but we also know it's time since he has made so much progress. We will be forever grateful that you had a part in helping our son find his voice!!! Okay, I'm going to go and cry now. 🥹
