High turnover of employees, lack of legitimate training, poor pay and treatment of their RBTs. Overall negative culture. Would not recommend their services for your child.

We were with Key Behavioral for a little over 3 months. I started with my 4 year old using sign language and we had a pretty good base before starting ABA therapy. Part of his care plan was to have "mands" and he did this pretty consistently. They said average was to have about 15-20 "mands" in a session and my son was having 70-80 per session. Was he talking, no. But he as signing everything he wanted to do or eat. They kept saying he's doing so well. I asked when do we move in from this goal, multiple times and was told soon. I asked for more independence during a session multiple times and it never really happened. I asked for more structure during a session and it didn't happen until I said I was going to quit ABA therapy. All of our doctors and developmental pediatrician told us ABA was great and to keep doing it. My mom gut said this isn't working. I do not feel that at this moment it's right for our family. This company, I feel is very young and not a lot of experience. If there is experienced people, I did not meet them. They didn't listen when I asked to move on with a goal, more structure and more independence during a session. It is not feasible to have a 4 hour session and be there and be present when you have another child.

They are supposed to be working with Autistic individuals with behaviors (ABA) but the moment they have to handle some challenging behaviors they pull out. Extremely unreliable and very arrogant bunch of top level administrators. They don't really understand Autism.

Unprofessional staff and director. Rude schedulers! RBT's sleep on the job, Refuse to wash their hands resulting in multiple viruses being brought into the home, Damaged carpet from RBT's coffee spills, RBT's scroll through facebook during sessions. Key will continue to work their workers after reported illness is reported continuing the spread of illness and disease to other family's. The company is overall understaffed and cannot keep consistent schedules, or reliable RBT's. Key doesn't take any accountability on their part for any wrong doings. So glad my family was discharged due to a miscommunication in reporting child illness and future prevention of infectious illness, This opens up the opportunity for our family to receive quality care elsewhere with reliability, consistency, honesty and more valued care.

Key has been working with my child for 8 months in home and at school and I can not give them enough praise. All of the staff involved either in person, on the phone or through email are kind, caring, professional and accommodating. They listen to my concerns and desired outcomes and adjust programs and staff accordingly. I believe they truly have my son’s best interest at heart and he adores his therapists that work with him daily. If ever an insurance issue arises, they are the ones talking to them, advocating for my son and working through it, not placing the burden on me. It has been a very positive, life changing experience for my son and our family. I highly recommend this company.
