Leslie is an outstanding OT evaluator and a true advocate for children’s needs. She is very knowledgeable and was incredibly thorough in her assessment of my child. She looked at a wide range of areas, including fine motor skills, postural control, sensory processing, self regulation, and how these challenges affect my child throughout the day. Sensory processing is hard for most people to understand. Turning that into a clear picture of a child’s needs, then writing a report that actually helps a team support those needs, is even harder. Leslie made that happen. She took something complex and made it concrete so everyone could see what my child is feeling and why certain situations are so hard. What stood out most was how she explained terms like proprioception and interoception in simple, everyday language. She made it easy for both parents and school staff to understand what those things look like in real life and how they affect my child across the day. I have worked with many professionals over the years, and Leslie stands out for how deeply she cares about a child’s wellbeing and school success. She does not treat an evaluation as a checkbox. She uses it as a real chance to understand the child and set them up to do better at school and at home. She listened closely to my input as a parent, pulled in examples from home and school, and offered recommendations that we can actually use. Her report did not just list scores. It showed how my child’s challenges appear in everyday situations and what tools and strategies, can help my child stay regulated and ready to learn. Because the report is so clear and practical, both our family and the district can use it to build a plan that is realistic and truly aligned with my child’s needs. I felt heard, respected, and supported throughout the process, and I walked away with clear next steps to help my child succeed at school. I highly recommend Leslie to any family looking for an OT who truly understands the whole child and follows through with meaningful support.

Our Vietnamese Community loves Leslie and her therapists at Kid Fundamentals. They are great and caring people who work hard to help kids with special needs. Kids love to do OT here since it is clean and roommy with plenty of toys and tools! Kurt is friendly, funny and efficient office manager! I would recommend all kids to do occupational therapy at Kid Fundamentals:)

I brought my 3 year old here for his OT. The process to get my son settled and moving forward woth appointments was easy because Kurt and the office was super friendly and helpful. They made my experience the best, from starting to insurance to appointments. They were so helpful and patient even when my insurance was all over the place. I would recommend this place 100%.

Waited for 4 months for my autistic son to get seen for FEEDING THERAPY which they claim they offered , even got a phone call from the receptionist a few days before letting me know to bring in a safe food & something he wouldn’t like that I’d like for him to start eating as well as the utensils he regularly uses … So tell me WHY the day of his appointment when we arrived , I was told that they weren’t going to do that because they didn’t have a therapist for it ? Ultimately it was really a pointless visit .. why set up an appointment & then not let me know ahead of time that it was a NO GO ? On Halloween day no less … This place isn’t 5 stars . There’s also homeless people sleeping right outside of the building . Not very clean or safe for children in my opinion … if I could rate it NO STARS , I would … definitely would NOT recommend this place to anyone .

My daughter and I enjoyed this place alot she had a good connection with Ms.Lindsey and was always excited to work with her during her OT appointments. Every therapist here will warm you up with their smile and help your child feel comfortable and accommodated to their needs. They listen to your concerns and goals you wish to accomplish with your child. Thank you Ms.Lindsey.

I only have good things to say about this company. After looking at so many places for OT for my daughter I found KID FUNdamentals and is been one of the best things that have happened to us. Leslie, Lindsey, and the rest of the team are an excellent group. Leslie helped us to find the correct plan and goals for my daughter when the evaluation was done. She was so flexible with our morning schedule and made sure that we had an available spot for my daughter. After that, we had Ms. Lindsey as her therapist. She is so caring and made therapy so fun for my daughter. She explained every step of the process and worked at my daughter's pace. They do care about each client and you can feel that when you walk through the door. Unfortunately, due to our new insurance, we are not able to continue with them. But I will recommend them for sure to family and friends. We are going to miss you guys.

I highly recommend this place especially for those with kids on the spectrum. Leslie is one in the million who truly cares and makes an extra effort even if that means she has to buy new therapy tools or equipment just to help your child accomplish their goals. My kid was one of her first few clients that started with Kid Fundamentals and been with them for about two years. I am so sad that we have to put on hold his OT because of our new insurance high copay and deductible. I have nothing but a positive experience with this company. They have fantastic facility and everyone has been very nice and wonderful!
