Kids SPOT

I have been calling them for weeks in a row and they NEVER have ever picked up the call or call back.

I did not recommend this place I requested an evaluation for my son 2 months ago I sent all the documents the insurance and two days before the appointment I get a message that my appointment was canceled and I call and the reason is that the place is no longer receiving new patients after two months.

If I could give them 5zeros I would only time my son was getting help when Ms.Megan was there as well as my daughter they suck all they do is cxl appointments or they be closed on a random Thursday NEVER TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE TRUST ME

Came to this place in October after talking to several people over the phone to drop off a pre authorization to hold my sons spot for December and I will get a call that same day to set appointment.And here we are today still waiting. And after reading everyone else’s reviews I’m glad they haven’t called me back because I will continue to look for The correct office for my son who is 2 and non verbal. ZERO STARS!

Took my son here for a few months. Every appointment he would be seen by a different therapist. He has autism and it takes time for him to warm up to people. He never felt comfortable with any therapist he was seen by at this place. And then on top of that, I needed to cancel an appointment due to me giving birth to my 2nd child.. Because we canceled this appointment they told us we could no longer be seen. Stay away from this place for your child’s sake. It was a waste of our time.

We were a little hesitant coming here seeing the reviews online. My son saw two different speech therapists here before finally landing with Ms. Glory. He now sees her twice a week and he never wants to leave. Ms. Glory is an amazing asset to this place. She is kind, patient, and very kid friendly. We are very thankful for all the hard work she puts into teaching our little guy.

I actually started at Kids S.P.O.T. Hollywood, then I was thrilled when they opened their Pompano location and took my son there for a few years to receive ST, OT & PT. During this time, we had several therapists, countless evaluations, etc. and my son always received the most professional and caring treatment. Not only that, but we'd used his evals from Kids S.P.O.T. at his IEP meetings at Public School, and the same goals were used for his ST and OT at school so we were all in the same page and my son made great progress. Both Annie and Kristina (The founders) are very professional and their hard work has paid off since they now have several locations. Joe, the office manager at Pompano, was always nice and helpful and he always dealt with any insurance issue that came up! YES, I had some no shows. YES, I also had a few cancellations from them. YES, sometimes it was some last minute cancellation from either them or me, but LIFE HAPPENS! Once you understand their cancellation policy, including arriving late (SPECIALLY for an evaluation and the implications this brings with the insurance companies) you would understand they do the best they can to accommodate each client! As my son grew up, so did his needs! I thanked them for their services, for all the years they helped my child grow in many areas of his development and I left in good terms because we all agreed it was time for my son to start a more intensive therapy like ABA both at home and a clinic. But I will always be grateful to all past and present staff from the Kids S.P.O.T. family, both Hollywood and mostly Pompano where I spent countless afternoons during several years! Kids SPOT is part of his journey and for that I'll be always grateful! -Maria

The lady that works with my son just reads with him a book like I can do that at home I drive far to this place and they do nothing else. People are nice so far but the office staff is not organized at all always canceling your appointment. We was approved for OT for my son but they never makes a appointment to see him and lied and said I needed another referral and saying they are waiting for Doc approvals and Insurance approvals and it just be a BIG LIE! The So called goals they make for your kid going over basic what they already know it takes forever to get to goals that the are struggling with they are not a successful organization I’m done with this place. I would give them a half of star if I could
