This experience is solely based on billing and prices. We did not have a chance to start therapy. The BCBA seemed pretty good and accommodating. We went in for an ABA assessment. All went well. We were going to start but decided to go a different route. Months later, received a bill for $1000 (after insurance kicked in). Apparently, the evaluation was over $2000. We been through 3 companies in the past and it didn’t cost nowhere near that much. We had a couple where it was in the hundreds before insurance. I just wish someone was up front with us for the cost. I hate finding out months later, especially if it wasn’t budgeted for. Now, it feels like a scam and I’m glad we didn’t continue services. Who knows what it’ll cost. Please ask questions and prices before you set up anything with them.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Kid Speak Speech, and I can’t say enough good things about Makenna Hefner. She has been an incredible therapist—patient, creative, and deeply caring. Her dedication and ability to truly connect make a world of difference. She understands the unique needs of autistic children and creates a safe, encouraging environment that is something to look forward to each week. My daughter LOVES Ms. Julie. Every night before our appointment she is excited to wake up the next day to come see her therapist. Ms. Julie pays attention to my daughter’s needs and strengths and works with us and gives us advice to improve her speech. We love you Ms. Julie! 😊

Hannah has been a wonderful SLP for our son. She has been patient and encouraging since we have started. She find creative ways to keep our son interested and wanting to come to speech therapy.
