Know Boundaries ABA

Something must have happened with this place. When we started our journey navigating support and services for our daughter following her ASD diagnosis, many people raved about Know Boundaries. I liked the idea of having services at school and in home so we started the process. We had an “assessment” with someone that asked questions from a list and seemed vaguely familiar with what she was doing but not very confident. When I think of assessment. I think of the use of clinical skills, which was not our experience. I was shocked to receive a bill in excess of a thousand dollars for this. We decided this was not a good fit for our daughter and went another direction. 9 months later, I get another large bill for an “assessment” completed after not pursuing services with them. An assessment that was NEVER completed. When I pursued this, they were defensive and unwilling to consider that something fishy is going on. This is straight up Fraud. And as a fellow mental health provider, I am in serious question of this place’s ethics. Proceed with caution.

I reached out to them in January of 2024, they took an extremely long time to get the ball rolling I had to call several times to see where my child was and what the hold up was. Apparently it was a therapist issue. They finally called me in November (11 months later) to tell me they found someone. Two days in the therapist quit because she found another job, they called a week after Thanksgiving and told me they had another. This one didn't show up at all. They called me about a third therapist but I was at my wits end with the lack of professionalism that I didn't even bother to call them back. I am now with another ABA clinic who is open and up front with me. There should have been no problem getting my daughter started with a therapist earlier in the year and with a therapist that will show up and stay. Do not bother with this company. They will waste your time dangling a carrot in front of your face promising they can get someone to come out to you but almost a year later. Unacceptable.

I loved my time with know boundaries! The help and support I recieved from BCBA Danielle Coronado was incredible. She was always checking in and communicating with me. I would recommend Know Boundaries to anyone looking for the therapy and support they need for their children and family! Thank you so much guys!

Know Boundaries genuinely cares about our son and his progression. He loves his therapist and is making great strides since starting with ABA services.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. If your child needs ABA therapy, take them elsewhere. This company/agency/etc dithered around with even getting my child started for months. Then because apparently the "clinician" wasn't "comfortable" with the condition of our house (and would NOT specify what the problem was) after 1 intake session and that was it. To date, not a single ABA therapy session has occurred. Apparently if your house isn't ready for a Southern Living photo shoot, they aren't going to help you.
