Dr Banks is absolutely AMAZING!!! She genuinely cares about patients and has a real conversation with you. She isn’t rushing to get the appointment over with and she listens to every question/concern. Our first appointment was wonderful! She made us feel like we’d known her for years because her comforting personality is just that warm. She’s truly a joy to see and the level of care she’s given our daughter is just incredible! Dr’s like her are very rare! Our daughter is on the leucovorin journey which has made her do a complete 360! She’s speaking full sentences of her own words. Nothing repetitive. No longer pacing which was constant. Hasn’t touched her tablet in weeks and that’s an item that hasn’t left her hands since age 2 (she’s 10) she’s making eye contact, focusing!!!! There was zero focus before unless it was her tablet. No more meltdowns, ticks or anger period. I can’t even put into words what it’s like to have zero meltdowns. It’s been pure bliss! She’s trying new foods and making snacks herself. It’s been wild to see her do those things alone because we had to do everything for her prior to leucovorin. On top of there being zero communication. Now we can talk to our child. It’s like we have a complete different child now. Just typing these things out has brought tears to my eyes. It’s truly PRICELESS!!! We will forever be grateful for Dr Banks and staff!
