Leaps and Bounds-Occupational and Speech Children's Therapy

Leaps and Bounds has been AMAZING for our child and our family. Jamie, Traci, and the team at the Leaps and Bounds have truly helped our kiddo grow leaps and bounds. It’s amazing to have someone who really understands what we are going through and treats us with empathy, respect, care, and humor. Jamie’s ability to detect the patterns in our child’s behavior and identify tools to help us support her has bordered on magic. She sees our child’s strengths and weaknesses and offers support in a way that no other provider has been able. Our child has made tremendous progress and so much of it is due to the support we have received from this exceptional team. THANK YOU!

We love working with Traci and the team at Leaps and Bounds! Excellent therapy for my son along with parent training so we can continue building skills throughout the week. It's great to touch base regarding how the week went so we can problem solve sticky areas. It has been an amazing resource as we started school. We've been able to increase length of time focusing as well as direct energy in more positive ways. We love the day camps too!

Leaps and Bounds (and its Sensory Preschool) provide the space, tools and expertise to help young children better regulate. Jaime Huizinga and her talented team have been pivotal: their tangible support/resources made life easier for our entire family. I know how frustrating it can be to sit on a wait-list. A long wait here says more about the growing number of families in need than this group's ability/motivation to help. Enrolling in their Pre-K Sensory Preschool gave us quicker access to services and the curriculum we needed.

Leaps and Bounds has been a catalyst for change on my son's life. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jamie and the team at Leaps and Bounds. My son has been attending therapy sessions here for the past few years, and I am beyond impressed with the care, professionalism, and expertise shown by everyone involved. he has also been doing speech and he has improved tremendously while having fun! From the very first day, it was clear that the therapists are not only highly skilled but also truly passionate about helping children. The entire staff takes the time to understand each child's unique needs and tailors the therapy approach to ensure the best possible outcomes. My son has made tremendous progress in both his speech and behavior. The Leaps and Bounds team has been incredibly patient, engaging, and creative in finding ways to connect with him and help him communicate more effectively. The difference we've seen in his confidence and ability to express himself is amazing. What I appreciate most is the individualized attention he receives. The therapists always take time to explain their goals for each session and provide feedback on his progress. They also work closely with us as parents, offering strategies and suggestions for how we can reinforce his development at home, which has been invaluable. The atmosphere at Leaps and Bounds is warm and welcoming. The facility is bright, clean, and designed to make children feel comfortable and excited to learn. I also love that there are a variety of therapy tools and equipment that keep my son engaged and motivated during each session. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a therapy center that combines expert care, genuine kindness, and a commitment to your child’s development. They have made such a positive impact on my son’s growth and life, and I am so grateful for everything they've done for us! We have been a Leaps and Bounds customer for three years and cannot speak highly enough about Jamie and team. Their OT services are fun, effective, responsive to each child's needs, helpful for parents, and engaging for the kids they serve. They are a skilled team who knows how to handle a wide range of sensory needs and our son has made tremendous progress as a result.

Leaps and Bounds is amazing! OT has worked wonders for our son and we are so grateful for all the support (both inside and outside of session) that Molly and Jamie have provided our family. We can’t recommend them enough! Our son looks forward to his session every week and they have built a really amazing community there. We are also thankful for all the playdates they organize during SPS closure dates for additional OT and social emotional practice with other kiddos.
