Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
Hi! My son, Jack (8) sees Ms. Allison for speech therapy. He is seeing her for pragmatics, and she is WONDERFUL. Jack (like everyone!) doesn't really like being corrected, but he does like learning, and she makes the therapy sessions seem educational. Jack's sister, Hannah, who does not get to have speech therapy (because she doesn't need it) is jealous, so I think that speaks to how well Jack enjoys the experience.

Been coming here for over a year for occupational therapy and speech therapy for my 6 year old. Therapists Allison & Kelly are awesome!!!
My son started about a year ago with Miss Alex and Miss Elyse. He was barely speaking actual words and now he is saying full sentences. He has come so far and we owe a lot of his success to the wonderful staff at Leaps and Sounds. We would highly recommend this place.
My daughter came to Allison in 2nd grade, reading at a kindergarten level. Allison identified her as having phonetic dyslexia and made a treatment plan! We live three hours away, so Allison worked with our school to do virtual therapy during school hours so Evie could get treatment and immediately implement it into her school day! By the end of 2nd grade, Evie was reading at almost a 4th grade level and her confidence in reading at school has skyrocketed! Watching her stand proud and read aloud, reading at home to her siblings and teaching her little brother her reading toolbox tricks, has me in awe of her and Allison! I have no doubt that Allison and the Leaps and Sounds team as a whole, have changed Evie’s life for the better!
We had such an amazing experience with Leaps and Sounds for our 7-year-old son. We genuinely looked forward to our weekly sessions. Each one was fun, encouraging, and effective. Jessica is absolutely the best! She truly listened to any concerns we had about his speech and always made sure we felt supported. The progress he made was incredible, and while we’re thrilled with the results, he was genuinely sad when it was over because he had so much fun. We can’t recommend them enough!
We love speech therapy with Allison and the team at Leaps and Sounds. She has been wonderful on aspects of implementing fun into speech therapy for our child. We have been going for 1.5 years and have seen significant improvements on her speech. Recently leaps and sounds have implemented a new system of not wearing shoes in the treatment rooms. I think this is a great idea to reduce foot traffic of outside rocks, salt, grass and dirt. But I have grown disappointed every time we enter the waiting room to remove my child’s shoes due to the amount of dirt and stones that my child has to walk through to go back to treatment rooms. They offer shoe covers for shoes if you do not want to remove shoes. The shoe covers are being used multiple times on people which concerns me in the health of others feet. There is no trash can to place the used shoe covers after use. We have been consistently satisfied with the speech therapy services provided by Allison and the team at Leaps and Sounds. Her approach to incorporating engaging activities into speech therapy has been instrumental in enhancing our child’s communication skills. Over the past 1.5 years, we have witnessed notable improvements in her speech. Recently, Leaps and Sounds has implemented a new policy prohibiting the wearing of shoes in treatment rooms. This initiative is commendable in reducing the accumulation of dirt, salt, grass, and other debris from outdoor sources. However, we have encountered some concerns regarding the cleanliness of the waiting room. Upon entering the waiting room to remove our child’s shoes, we have observed a significant amount of dirt and stones that she has to walk through to return to the treatment rooms. While Leaps and Sounds provides shoe covers as an alternative to removing shoes, their repeated use raises concerns about the potential health risks to other individuals’ feet. Furthermore, there is currently no designated area for disposing of used shoe covers, which could lead to clutter and unsanitary conditions.
