The employees working there have the nastiest attitudes!
I am in foster care and I was in a room all day all night for eight days For a pre-placement and in those eight days, I only got one plate of food just one and the staff invaded my privacy while I was in the bathroom, even though I told them I’ll be in there they did not knock or Anything and I made sure they know I was going.they treated me like I was stupid like I could not open an piece of candy by myself and said do you need help with that just because I did not Open the candy just like everybody else and then they start making hands motions in front of everybody trying to show me how to open it and then I was 17 year old in front of every single kid in there It was bad. Also, you cannot see outside you they didn’t take you outside either. and I love being out in nature so I don’t even know I was there for a whole eight days cause I just didn’t have no clocks no windows no nothing don’t know how long you therefore or what day it is what time it is you just don’t know when I went back to my old place to the place where I went was at I asked what time is it? What day is it because I had no idea what time or day it is could you cannot go outside or see outside? There was no clocks. So I don’t know I was there until I left there it’s is very bad there I was in the passage program
There has been a high turnover in staff in the pass two to three years . They are one of many group homes that really care about the teens there and will take them off campus to different places ( movies, bowling , tours , etc..)
Those staff members have the most nastiest attitudes I've ever seen, but if you overlook that, you may began to feel happy, it depends on you.
