Can’t even answer the phone. I honestly don’t know how they stay in business. I used to use them for therapy and psychiatry, that was a horrible experience. Once I finally managed to get a therapist who showed up, I say this because not only did it take nearly a year to finally be assigned a therapist in general but it took several therapists to get through more than 1 session. 2 different therapists set up appointments and did not tell me ahead of time, told me after the appt was missed, then dropped me as a client. Another one even went as far as just not responding to me at all. Then another was assigned to me, even after they asked me what my availability was like, they assigned someone to me that had the complete opposite availability, she worked when I worked so she couldn’t possibly have the time to see me. After 4 failed therapists, I finally got a good one, I thought. She did do great for a little while until my insurance ran out of credits and I had to rely on her for paperwork to continue for the next 6 months, but she never did the paperwork and even lied to me on who I follow up with about it. The psychiatrist cut me off of a high dose of a mental health medication that I was on for nearly 2 years because it MIGHT have been affecting me medically. If you take meds you know this is not the way to handle that, she didn’t even try to find another medication, wien me off of this one, or actually verify that the meds were the root cause because since then another thing has been named the suspect, just stopped me cold turkey. The mood swings and depression following that for nearly 2 months was awful, I didn’t think I was going to make it with everything going on at the time. Now nearly 6 months later I’m stuck with Legacy again but now for my kid to see a psychologist for her autism and they won’t answer the freaking phone, ever. Not even call me first based on a referral they should’ve received or my several voicemails, no matter which option I select, why day or what time I call, I get a voicemail. A mental health facility should be better than this. I’ve never heard a good thing about legacy, not from friends or family. I’m seeing a therapist now who seems reliable, great at reminding me of our appts, willing to work with me, gives me advice to try to resolve issues in my life rather than just being an ear, and she also has not heard good things about legacy. The only pro of legacy seems to be that they accept Medicaid, which is probably why they suck so much.

Worst, most disorganized organization yet. Took my daughter in for counseling services (1st appt) to be told we never had an appointment. We had confirmed MULTIPLE times. Finally get a hold of someone the next business who gets her rescheduled. We go in to then be taken into a room where they turn on a computer and have us do what they called a ‘screening’ with a virtual therapist. Honestly, why even make me come into the facility at that point. That appointment finishes and we’re told they will match us with a therapist. Over a month later here we are still no call from Legacy or any therapist we were supposedly to be matched with. No calls back from the agency either. Terrible overall experience

The staff seems indifferent to patient care. They frequently forget to call for scheduling and then shift the responsibility back to the patient by saying, “You have to call as well.” But isn’t that the entire purpose of this service? Appointment reminders are sent only a day before, not even a full 24 hours in advance. The scheduling team can be rude. When I asked who created the policy requiring patients to come in person, have insurance billed for an in-person visit, only for the psychologist to appear on a screen, the receptionist simply said “Legacy,” which clearly shows a lack of awareness or understanding. The therapists feel surface-level and ineffective, and the overall environment suggests that patient care is not a priority. At this point, I’m switching providers because they consistently drop the ball and then blame the patient. They also keep you on hold unnecessarily, and even when you’re on basic, non-controlled medications, you’re treated like a criminal. It also appears that none of the staff are trained as RBTs, patient care technicians, or even CMAAs, just whoever is available, and it shows. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but with mental health services, I would absolutely choose a different team. The focus feels more on billing insurance and looking good on paper than on providing genuine, meaningful care.

Isa is the best and I appreciate the help with my daughter. The difference is absolutely amazing... Thank you for giving me my daughter back. she's an amazing person just needed help. Isa is attentive and so very helpful she also makes sure my daughter and I have all our needs met. She is literally a saving grace... Thanks so much for all you do...

Excellent staff! Thank you for your help!!!!! I’m updating because the 2 lady’s that used to be at the front desk are not longer there. THEY WHERE THE WHOLE REASON WE STARTED COMING HERE. It seems like there is a difference person there all the time. They are not friendly (I guess they only like speaking to the people who speak Spanish). They really need to put the other 2 ladies back at the front! I know - was transferred.

I've been with legacy for about 5 years now. The Drs are caring and amazing. The staff is very kind and attentive and the therapist are out of this world. I really don't do the feed back thing but they e been so good to me I felt compelled to do so. Other places around aren't on their game like these guys. Total props!!
