Went here to check it out. I have never been treated so rudely in my life, and I shop at the Hazel Park Kroger. Cannot implore you enough not to take your child there. There have got to be better services available. If they treat a potential client as poorly and aggressively as they did me, I can't imagine how they treat our children. Might've just been a bad day, but we all have bad days. Either hire people with an iota of professionalism or stop treating them like garbage. Whichever is applicable.

I highly recommend taking your kid to LLK. I brag about them all the time when talking to other caregivers of autistic kids. My daughter was diagnosed as Level 2 autistic at age 2. She started going to LLK at about 2 and a half for about 24 hours a week. She has been going there for a little over a year now. She is now 3 and a half and goes 30 hours a week. My daughter is also nonverbal, so I have to trust the adults she is around for a whole day. Since going to LLK my daughter is MUCH more comfortable around new people and in new places, is better at communicating (instead of screaming when she’s frustrated), and is showing more interest in trying different toys and activities. There are many reasons they are fabulous and I tell everybody how awesome they are: 1. The vibe of the building itself is welcoming, clean, organized, and clearly enriching on various levels. 2. They have all of the therapies my daughter needs and more. 3. They are helpful and accommodating with our work schedules. 4. The techs are patient, kind, and helpful. 5. They track my daughter’s short term and long term goals daily. They have iPads and clickers they use to count how many times my daughter practices a new skill and they log the data. I can log into an online platform, and see her goal progress, with which techs, on what days. They update her goals based on this progress using concrete data and recorded observations. 6. They are honest! If there are not enough techs they cancel the ABA session for the day. As much as I hate rearranging my day, it is better than finding out they grouped kids together at the last minute and my kid didn’t react well and had a huge meltdown or something. It is reassuring that they act in the best interest of my kid. Check it out. This place is a gem.

LifeLab Kids has been amazing. It was my first time taking my child to a program like this, and I felt completely lost. They made it easy from the start, simple scheduling, clear goals, and great communication after every session. The therapy spaces are awesome too. My favorite was the video game room and the open gym. They are rebuilding the greenhouse, which looks exciting. I’m really grateful for all the support and options they’ve given us. I usually don't post reviews but really wanted to let them know they made a difference.

My child started at 2 years old.. with almost no communication. Fast forward today he's 4: graduated from ABA, in a mainstream classroom, and you can't get him to stop talking! Best ABA program..researched quite a few before starting. Child led, play based.. and they really encourage the parents to be involved and our enthusiastic to teach you. They really care about the whole child, and everyone is so professional. They even helped me communicate his needs to the school by attending meetings! Above and beyond. Miss you guys.
