I was told that my son is NOT autistic because he makes eye contact.

We would drive 1 hour and 20 minutes for OT for sensory disorder. Some of the session would get cut short due to my child not wanting to listen. The whole part of going to the appointments was to work on the sensory issues that caused behaviors. Apparently appointments are called off if there are behaviors yet it is supposed to be a program to help correct the behaviors. It's a joke and waste of time. Not worth the drive nor was it helpful.

If you are in need of speech or occupational therapy, do NOT go through LifeScape. They bill each visit as an outpatient hospital visit, rather than a clinic visit. When I talked to someone in billing, they explained that this is in the written agreements that they make with ALL insurance companies. So even though my insurance policy says these services should be a $20 copay, it actually costs much more because they do not bill it as a clinic visit (even though the location we went to is literally in a strip mall next to a Dollar General and Dragon’s Den Gaming). For us, that meant two weeks of therapy (one hour total per week- 30 minutes of actual therapy) cost us $600. There are many other options in the Sioux Falls area that bill appropriately and will even travel to serve kids at your daycare. I was so disappointed when I realized we were going to have to pull my child from therapists he likes, and I was even more disappointed after I spoke to LifeScape and found out they bill this way intentionally. Great therapists, but I truly expected a nonprofit organization to operate in a more ethical manner. Beware!!

They are person very kindly and friendship with chindren... nice experience laboral with my child.
