I had a wonderful time at the Life Skill Orlando, everyone was helpful and supportive and push you to be the best. It was a good environment to get focus on yourself and get better. The staff was amazing and always willing to be there for you and help. Thank you to George, Patricia, Khamari, Alex, Curtis, Francis aka Superman,Tisha, Tamara, Imoni, Lisa, and Andre.

My time at Lifeskills Orlando in the RTC program was phenomenal! I can say that all the staff were so kind and sweet, they were all very helpful. I hade been in Pasadena Villa for several years and it was an awesome place to be! I went directly from the hospital! I received a great deal of help! However, when Life Skills of Orlando took over a disaster was borned with Joes management! The quality of Care depreciated more and more! We lost staff that had been there helping us! Some did not even give notice because they were fed up dealing with Management. The environment became toxic! Joe told my Case Manger to let me know immediately that I was terminated because of lack payment! It was a Monday, I left earlier because i had an appointment with my Primary Doctor. Coming out of the appoint I get this call! I was not to returned! No referrals? no paperwork ect! Very unprofessional! I cried! I found out through the insurance that all payments have been up to date! Then I called the Case manager and she said that Joe mentioned this is not a facility for long term treatment. However, there are several people there that are there long term! You know who they are Joe! so I was kicked out without resources! went into deep depression and it has cost me time to be able to deal with all your lies and abuse of power! I would like to give thanks to Marnita and coach Curtis that were always available to help! They are legitimate wise, knowledgeable and honest persons! I am sorry I couldn't say good bye and graduate from the program Like Pasadena use to do. With those beautiful big cards Marnita use to do! Joe has destroyed my dream ! or may I say his bad management! I Hope the facility will regain it's true essence again some day!

I came to RTC seeking for help with my mental health. As an anxious but very independent person as well, the transition was a little rough. However, the staff and techs assisted in making the transition easier. They were always checking in on my wellbeing, assisting as needed, but also planned fun activities and found myself laughing often with them. As hard as RTC was in terms of intense therapy, there were days I struggle a lot. I would have outburst and at times the staff would get the worst of it. However, at the end of the day, they always understood and didn’t hold a grudge. I want to give the biggest shout outs to George, Melissa, Patricia, Tea, Francis, Imoni, Tisha, Kamari, and Alex. Thank you so much for your support as I’ve done the hardest things I’ve ever done. Words cannot describe the amazing community you all have built, the safety at the villa, and the feeling of “a home away from home.” Thank you for even being interested in my lifestyle outside of the villa, whether it be future goals, current events, or even accomplishments from my past. I know I was challenging at times, but wouldn’t be able to do this without y’all. Another big shoutout to the nursing staff! Val, Angie, Carlee, Gui, thank you for making sure we’re all in good health! I know you all go through a lot (making sure we get our medication on time, scheduling appointments, etc) and your work does not go unnoticed! I will say as well, I don’t think I have ever felt more comfortable with asking anyone in nursing about my own health concerns. I knew I could come to you guys with no judgement.

I truly don’t have enough words to express the gratitude I feel for this amazing team. George, Curtis, Yolanda, Alex, Khamari, and the entire nursing staff are not just professionals — they’re compassionate, dedicated, and genuinely invested in every person who walks through their doors. Each one of them played a role in helping me through one of the most difficult chapters of my life. Their support didn’t just aid my recovery — it saved my life.
