My provider, Robin, could often run a bit late, but I know this was because she was overbooked and trying to be as attentive as possible to each client. She was always very thoughtful, friendly, and kind, and I very much enjoyed our time together. Although my depression was incredibly treatment resistant, I truly felt that she did all she could for me, and I was much better off for it. Because of her, I was able to succeed in and complete my bachelors program, despite all the turmoil of my internal condition and my external life. I’ll always be grateful for her efforts and her support. My only frustration was very minor, and it was that my provider didn’t seem to fully understand the effects of hormone replacement therapy in combination with psychiatric medication, but that’s understandable as it’s a very new science and not a part of her field! I would have liked a bit more knowledge on the topic, and I only mention it in this review in case it’s a high priority of future clients, but I don’t fault my provider for not being an expert on every single fringe subject out there. Above all, I appreciate my provider’s empathy, support, and flexibility throughout our years together. She always did her best to do right by me, and I’ll always be thankful for that.

Lindsay is an excellent therapist. She works hard to help people improve their lives. She provides tasks to do between appointments. Listens well and is wonderful. Feel fortunate to have her as my therapist! Jill

I reached out multiple times(phone call and email) about suspicious billing patterns and was completely ignored. They also have a ridiculously harsh cancellation policy, and charged me $100 when I notified them early on Friday about a cancellation on a Monday(I had a work conflict and they said the provider would likely wave my first cancellation fee, alas they didn’t). I was surprised with this kind unethical behavior from an established mental health clinic. To make matters worse, after seeing other providers, they immediately questioned the medication I was prescribed at Lifestance.

My experiences with Lifestance have been very positive. My therapist and doctors have been professional and competent in their fields, providing excellent care. I have only experienced one issue with billing over a missed appointment where I never received a telehealth appointment with check-in details. After that issue was resolved my experiences have been entirely positive.
