Hey! So, first the therapists and psychiatrists are great. Second, at least online, their checkin process is the worst I've ever seen. Expect to spend at least 15 minutes before your appointment (even if it's weekly), answering repetative questionaires, uploading IDs and insurance cards again, and generally re-entering information you've already told them just to get the online appointment link. And then they charged my saved credit card information while I was waiting for my new insurance information (well before the end of the billing period). They sent me an email asking for feedback. So here it is.
I just had the most horrendous experience here, just yesterday. About a month ago I book a psychiatric appointment because I’m trying to treat ADHD in addition to my already existing therapist, I book with the intake department, wait for my appointment, then on the day I go in. 20 minutes into my appointment I ask the lady about medication and it is revealed to me that she is not actually a psychiatrist but another therapist, which I already have, and that the intake department completely botched my appointment. I am absolutely disgusted and confused to how this could have occurred after I’ve conveyed, from the beginning, I want a psychiatrist, I want to treat ADHD with meds, on planet earth, preferably this year…How hard is that? I really don’t want to be the a hole here and I will say that the therapist I saw and the people working the desk seemed like lovely capable people but like, someone in the intake department is spacing out and completely screwed me over. wake the hell up, show some damn respect to the people you treat.
Another money hungry company taking advantage of patients. They make it difficult to communicate with their billing team and charge you through their telehealth portal with no invoice. Recently they added a new feature where they require you to pay bills to access your appointments- right before your appointment, then charge you another $200 if you cant pay that money at the time of your appointment. No humanity, no care.
