I have been with Lifestance for 2 years. My experience has been less than great. My first psych cancelled on our 2nd appt, and this was my first appt ever with a psych, when seeking support/help, and I had to pay for the initial intake and she didn't work with me for whatever reason. I then was with another psych, and she was great, but then she quit Lifestance. I then had to go to another psych, and I didn't know at the time but i was being charged twice, one for an office visit and one, just some other doctor code used anytime they mention or "talk" about your medication, even if it's just a refill and there are no issues and nothing to talk about... and it can just be them asking you how you are and what I found is that the psych will keep you on the line so they can bill you for this "so called therapy" which I just needed my refills and had to meet them due to law and based on the meds I'm taking. This last psych was unavailable for months out when I needed my refill, so I had to switch yet again to another psych doc, who gave me less pills than my last prescription, and then I had to do an intake all over again, pay for that and then I find out my insurance is not covering these charges, which the last psych I have billed me twice, like I said for an office visit which is just a virtual meeting, which should include what you talk about or not talk about, however I'm charged 191$ out of pocket, after my insurance covered what they could but didn't cover what they were previously covering and the psych before last was also double charging this way. I just didn't notice because my insurance covered. I've left Lifestance now, and I'm on the hunt to find a provider that doesn't take advantage of people.

★★★★★ 5 stars I’ve been seeing Dr. Turner for a little while now, and she’s been consistently thoughtful, grounded, and easy to talk to. She has a great way of explaining things without feeling clinical or overwhelming, and she helps frame situations in a way that actually makes them easier to work through. I’ve felt genuinely understood in our sessions, and she adapts quickly to how I think and process things. What I appreciate most is that she brings structure when I need it, but also gives space when I’m working something out. She’s patient, insightful, and has already helped me make real progress in how I handle stress, regulation, and relationships. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone who’s engaged, empathetic, and very good at what she does.
