My therapist is always stretching me to grow, she gives practical advice that I can use on a regular basis. I’m doing a lot better in my mental health since when I first started my therapy with her.
What a joke. Waited for a week for an appointment and then waited in a Zoom meeting for 48 minutes just to be told to wait another week for an appointment. I don't believe it was the therapist's fault and she was kind on the phone but this was very important for my mental health and I was failed.
The process of scheduling an appointment and meeting with a therapist was easy to navigate.
If I could give this practice a ZERO I would!!!! Monica Romero was the absolute WORST therapist I have ever encountered!! She is the epitome and very definition of malpractice!! My child struggles with self regulation among other disorders. From the first initial intake appointment there was something off with her!! Mother's intuition is usually right and I should have heeded my gut warning at that moment!! My child's behavior has declined significantly since starting care with her!! Unfortunately with mental health services being so scarce these days and the amount of time we spent on a wait list already I ignored my better judgement and let her continue treating my child, hoping every session would produce a break through!! Monica Romero never appreciated the goal for my child and put the bare minimum effort into every session had!! She might be more successful with older clients that can speak their minds and advocate for themselves as to whether or not she was worth the couch time and costs for her subpar services. I have to start all over again with being placed on wait-lists to get my child quality and effective mental health services!! My frustration and disappointment with this woman is unmeasurable!! DO NOT allow your child to be placed with Monica Romero for mental health services!! She has no business caring for impressionable young minds!!
Vary easy to get an appointment and good customer service
Very friendly compassionate Therapist and psychologist. I was very nervous about meeting someone new and she helped me understand a couple of things about my situation.
