Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
Awful experience. We had a very bad experience with this company, we were receiving in-home ABA therapy for my autistic son. please avoid them at any cost.
Don't bother unless you have too. Of course you got your good people there but definitely more bad than good. Especially front desk lady.
Although I don’t have personal experience with this company, I very much felt the need to provide them with a good review. I inquired about lighthouse and their services and unfortunately my son did not qualify due to age and a few other reasons, which is the answer I find from most companies. But, I was shocked when I got a call back from the most kind woman who went out of her way to provide me a list of resources that could benefit my almost adult child. She didn’t have to do that- nor did I ask her to, but words cannot describe how appreciative I am of her. She gave me answers that no company or insurance had yet to provide me with. Because this woman went out of her way for me I can only imagine the type of fabulous support that she provides to the families they are able to service. Would definitely recommend at least inquiring about this company due to the kindness and empathy I received. I believe the woman’s name was Juliette, julia, Julianna? Something along those lines!
If I could leave a zero I would, They quit on us after FOUR sessions. First he was supposed to get ABA at school. The company kept telling me they’re having a hard time getting into Maryville system schools. Called the school to see how I could help and they told me they only got half the paperwork submitted and they have been trying to get the company on the phone to no avail. So then they suggest in home ABA. 3-5 every weekday. Okay we rearrange our schedules to make this happen. Sessions go fine for the first few days then my son gets in trouble AT SCHOOL again ( which is one of the main reasons we need ABA- his aggression) and even though my son has never shown an ounce of aggression to the ABA person they quit because of “ his use of weapons at school” which BTW was a PENCIL. Their suggestion? That I drive my son an hour away every weekday in rush hour traffic to another ABA clinic who has openings. Guess I can’t work at all, right? Absolutely horrid experience. Go with ANY other company out there.
Lighthouse made a difference in my son’s life. He went from being completely non verbal to being able to communicate. He has come such a long way in a short time. We are thankful for Lighthouse
my son went here for almost two years. we was told he can no longer attend due to a balance owed. understandable. however, notice of the balance came august 16, 2024. end of august 2024, I got a notice his balance was sent to collections. fine and fair. then December 5th, we were notified he cannot come back until we pay a 500 dollars... right before Christmas. and didnt receive any notice in-between. im thinking its in collections. I talk to the finance lady, Brandy, who always seems to blame anyone else but herself. this is also not the first time my son was suspended for this reason even after I tried to make payments that weren't processed. Brandy said that it was someone she worked with that sent the account to collections and it was retracted same day. well no one told us and we never received another notice from lighthouse about payment and im thinking its in collections. then Brandy has the audacity to say "I wish you would have called" uhh yall made the mistake and now my son is punished for it. there are some amazing people there but the inconsistency in billing is unacceptable. oh and my son also coming home with another kids shoes or cup. and then I withdrew him and advised he still had items at the facility but was never told when I could get them. I wouldn't be upset but again this is not the first or even second time we've had to go through this because as a parent, I say process this payment and send me an updated notice and no payment gets processed and no further notice. for months. MONTHS! and then he gets kicked out until we pay this sum of money right before Christmas. I have no problem paying my the balance, but again im thinking its in collections, not with them. and the times before I can take accountability and we did pay them over $15k. they all know me and my son very well. I expected a little more professionalism than this. and I mean we didn't get an email, text, phone call, or even a note sent home with him between august 16th 2024 and December 5th 2024 about this balance (again I think its in collections) and then told he just cant come in until we pay. no. as grateful as I am for what they have done for my child, this was the last straw and really tainted my view and makes me wonder how capable they really are. and it breaks my heart because my son really did love being there. but I guess I should thank them because now hes starting kindergarten Monday. I would advise to use caution with this facility. and stay on top of things because they won't. you would think a place like this would have it more together and be better than this. I am disappointed mostly for my son. so yeah, I hope they see this and remember that Brandy needs to do her job better. punishing kids because you cant send out a simple notice for almost 4 months is disgraceful. It was a blessing for him to get kicked out. oh.... I do also have proof of all this :)
