A few years ago I was forced to go here and this place is horrible, when I would self harm or get suicidal, everything that comforted me was taken, and the staff treated me horribly, there was one supervisor who was fired for throwing a girl on the ground and hurting her knee, he had to be picked up and physically dragged off the unit, everyday there were fights, the staff played favorites, the staff are very disrespectful, the only good thing about this place is the owner, he would bring ice cream sometimes and was the only nice person there, by the time I finally got out of there, my mental health was way worse than before. That place should be shut down. The kids unit at one point in the bathroom was covered in pee but everyone was still expected to use it, one time under my mattress there was what looked like a whole colony of ants and I was forced to sleep in there anyway, one of my roommates threatened to stab me in my sleep and I had to keep sleeping in there and nothing was done about it. That place is the worst place in the world. Never send your kid there.

We had a child here for over 10 months. She learned so much. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

I was at little creek 2 years ago. Well i was at this place many safety precautions were not taken, during thanksgiving they had the bright idea to put all the units together so older girls n younger girls n children, they put us all together in the cafeteria and we had a couple of riots (girls fighting each other and fighting staff and girls vandalizing property). in my unit we had codes everyday from girls fighting each other and staff, and staff didn’t know how to handle the situation. the therapist i had also was not very sympathetic he told me that my father leaving me at 11 was my fault and that was the only conversation we had other than that he sent me to his assistant who didn’t have their therapy license yet. phone calls are also only twice a week and if you are to cry well on the phone with your family you can get your calling privileges taken. over all this place is not good and doesn’t help.

I am eternally grateful to each and every staff member at Little Creek and Safarie with Arcadia for their unwavering commitment to providing the best possible care for my daughter. Their professionalism, expertise, and compassion have truly transformed her life and our family's experience. Words cannot adequately express the depth of my appreciation for the positive impact Little Creek had on my daughter's well-being and future. Thank you for being a beacon of hope and support in our lives. Your dedication and genuine care has given us renewed hope and optimism for her future. We are forever grateful for the difference you have made and will always cherish the memories and lessons she has gained under your guidance. I highly recommend Little Creek for a BHRF after years of my daughter struggling there is finally a light. From admission to discharge they were amazing and supportive.

The staff at Little Creek is very caring and supportive of the clients. The therapist and case managers were wonderful, caring and very qualified. I highly recommend Little Creek for any youngsters that need a residential program that will provide the services that Little Creek offers. They are also supportive of the families.

I cannot say enough positive things about this facility. When my son was first admitted to Little Creek it was a very new facility with a subpar program. In the three years I have been apart I have seen a transformation from the top down of staff and administrators that now would rival any facility in the US. There is a true deaf culture that has allowed my son to get the treatment needed while not being alienated by lack of communication. The director has done a great job transforming this facility from just a new building to being a save haven for children in need. My family and I thank all the staff and administrators who treatment for my son possible!!!
