Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
I can’t say enough positive things about our experience at Little Mittens. I “interviewed” several places and while answers were fairly similar across the board, I just had such a positive experience in talking with Emily and Jamie, the BCBAs who own the center. I could tell they were passionate about doing quality and compassionate care with child as priority #1. They are small enough it still feels personal and like family, and even staff that wasn’t usually working with my son knew him. They were also so in tune with my needs as mom, helping me to navigate some anxiety producing transitions. Everything was always based on we wanted as a family, and they would offer goals I had not thought of yet I went “that’s exactly what my son needs!” It was clear they spent enough time to get to know him. He was able to be his true self in a supported way to bring out his strengths and work on progressing more challenging areas. They worked on tools with me, had great communication reaching out to preschool staff, outpatient speech, etc. I watched my son grow so much there, and could always tell he loved it. While I’m happy he is doing well enough in some areas to not need the ABA right now, we will greatly miss the team and support there. Please consider Little Mittens for your family, you won’t be disappointed!
If I could give more than 5 stars to Little Mittens, I would! There are so many great things to say about them & their staff. My son has only been attending for 4 months, and we have already seen such amazing progress in both social & functional skills. Jamie & Emily are so knowledgeable, caring, motivated, and passionate about what they do. The ABA techs that work with my son are of the same caliber with patience & knowledge, which was very important to us. I really appreciate how communicative the staff is - with daily updates on progress and tips for home. The facility is a bit smaller than some of the larger “chain” ABA centers in the area, but I actually see this as a benefit. My child loves attending ABA and does not get lost in the crowd like he would at a bigger center. They are flexible with scheduling with school and summer schedules, making the child the priority. They have also brought on more services like speech & OT/PT which you can take advantage of. Overall, a lot of research was done prior to selecting an ABA center for my 4 year old and the experience in the past 4 months has been nothing short of amazing. We are so grateful for finding them, the care and support they provide to our child, and the growth that we have seen in a short period of time. Highly recommend!!!
Our child has absolutely flourished since starting ABA Therapy with Little Mittens! The co founders/owners are passionate, knowledgeable, deeply caring and take pride in their facility and hiring selections. The technicians are also outstanding and our child has built bonds with several of the team members. The team is professional, kind, eager to help, friendly and are giant contributors to our child’s growth. The facility is a large clean space, well organized, with LOTS of play options. It’s a motivational space that has play giant structures and a fun track to ride bikes or push cars, with lots of sensory play options, as well. The quality of people, the quality of care, the joy our child has going there, the growth we’re seeing - we highly, highly recommend Little Mittens! Thank you, Little Mittens, for being part of the difference makers/team in our child’s growth and successes!
Jamie and Emily, owners of Little Mittens, have been a blessing to our Spanish organization Autism's Dunya which organizes autism projects in Morocco. They care so much about the autism community that they visited Morocco several times to volunteer their time and share their knowledge, experience, and kindness in many ways. They have given talks, prepared sessions, given parent training classes and written action plans, and continue to happily share their knowledge and advice when Autism Dunya needs it. Morocco is a beautiful country, but unfortunately, there is no specialized autism help available. They were very aware of the cultural differences and lack of understanding of autism in Morocco. They always adapted very easily to the situation of our Moroccan parents and were very creative in overcoming the language barrier. I am very grateful for their altruism.
There aren't enough wonderful things to say about Jamie and Emily! They are incredibly helpful and knowledgable when it comes to assisting families with ABA therapy services. I would definitely recommend their company!
