They never answer me.
My ASD grandson has been going to LSAC for a year now. He started in Leon springs and the majority of his time has been at Westover. We have seen so much improvement with his behaviors and have only encountered thoughtful therapist. The teen designated area has really helped him socially and with structure. Not to mention the calaberation between his speech/OT therapist and his ABA therapist has been a game changer.
They will not give me the records for my son‘s diagnosis of autism and has me go to chart. I’m trying to go through chart and they are giving me a hard time. I even paid for faster processing. Jennifer will not let me speak to anyone higher than her to obtain my son’s diagnosis paperwork. I can’t even get him into ABA therapy because of this. How sad of this company! I still have yet to get that paperwork
We love the staff at Little Spurs Autism Center. My son had made so much progress and the time that he's been there.
This place is ridiculous. Very slow process. They never answer the phone so you have to leave a voicemail. When someone calls you back and you tell them you need to schedule they transfer you to a woman named Jennifer. Who you have to leave a voicemail for. It takes 2 to 4 days for her to return a call and that’s just to even get an appointment. I made a terrible mistake of needing to reschedule. Had to go through the process all over again. Jennifer told me on 2/4 She would have to call me back because she needs to talk to the nurse practitioner to see if we can still schedule. Even though all I was trying to do was reschedule my current appointment. She just called me it’s 2/18! In this timeframe, we went to action behavior and we got everything done and the results sent to our pediatrician which we’ve already found out in the time that it’s taken to get a return call from Little Spurs.
My experience with this center was terrible. There was constant staff turnover, empty promises, and the goals set for my son didn’t align with his abilities. To make matters worse, he was repeatedly hit. Since leaving the center, my son has flourished. He’s less aggressive, his goals now match his abilities, and he's making progress in school. I regret ever allowing him to attend this facility. It’s clear they care more about profit than ensuring children receive the attention and services they need. Allowing a 3-year-old to be in the same environment as aggressive 11-year-olds shows a serious lack of awareness about the risks to other children. Above all, the disorganization from the leadership team made dealing with this place a nightmare. I would avoid it at all costs if you want your child to truly thrive. Maybe their other location is better, but this one definitely falls short.
Exceptional Support for My 4-Year-Old: Highly Recommend Alyssa and Her Team The team that Alyssa, BCBA, has assembled at this location has been nothing short of extraordinary for my 4-year-old son. Their expertise, dedication, and individualized approach have made a world of difference in his development. Alyssa's leadership, combined with the team's compassionate and professional care, has provided the kind of support we didn’t think possible. I cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone seeking high-quality behavioral support services for their child.
Little Spurs Autism Center is the best decision we made for our daughter. The sense of ease, patience, safety, & genuine care we feel when dropping off & picking up our daughter is more than any parent can ask for. Our experience has been great. The work our daughters BCBA Diana, her RBT’s, & anyone else who has worked with our daughter shows. She has hit so many targets & milestones since starting ABA. We couldn’t have asked for a better team. Every individual at the Westover hills location is amazing at what they do. My daughter loves going to the center & that gives me a peace of mind. When anyone asks for an ABA center recommendation I always suggest Little spurs. Again, anyone who has worked directly or indirectly with our daughter thank you, we are deeply grateful.
