LIBH is an outstanding practice that demonstrates a high level of professionalism, warmth, and care in every interaction. Everyone is courteous, organized, and genuinely dedicated to creating a welcoming and respectful environment. The space itself is thoughtfully designed — clean, calm, and inviting — which helps set a tone of comfort and trust from the moment you walk in. You won't have to fight with your kids to get them to go to therapy, the clinicians are able to engage the kids and make therapy fun and engaging. Scheduling is flexible and they submit the claims forms to the insurance company so we don't have to do that. The therapists are well-trained, attentive, and deeply committed to client-centered care. The practice offers a wide range of specialties, and it's evident they take care in matching clients with the right provider for their needs. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a supportive and professional therapy environment.

David and his colleagues are excellent. They provide top-notch care while also being empathic and down-to-Earth. They are easy to talk to and I truly enjoy working with them.

I’ve referred a few people to Long Island Behavioral Health and they’ve all thanked me many times over. They’ve used words like ‘professional’, ‘caring’ and ‘helpful’ to describe their experiences.

We had the worst experience here. They don't have a regular receptionist so it takes them days to respond. We were advised to see 1 therapist and got bumped to another. That one never connected with my child, let him bounce balls off the wall the whole session. Went on for 3 months. Cost nearly 200 per session out of pocket for that. Repeatedly asked for them to switch therapists they refused. The advice I did get from the therapist assigned was terrible. Do not recommend and wouldn't ever go back.

My 12 year old daughter was seeing one of their counselors for quite some time, developed a relationship with my daughter, she trusted him and looked forward to her sessions with him. Ryan Nordin, was the counselor, and recently he was pulled off or left the company. With no goodbye or transition for my daughter he and the company basically left her high and dry. We were informed that they don't have anyone to replace him and there was nothing they could do to help us out. I really expected more from this company, especially an organization that's sensitive to the health of it's clients. At the end of the day.. it's just a business and no one cares!

My son has ASD and we had a hard time finding someone who could relate well with him. Frank has been amazing with our son. We have seen such wonderful progress with the therapy and CBT and it’s exciting! Awesome staff and highly recommended!
