TERRIBLE policies and providers, been going up there probably OVER 10 YEARS now and NONE of the providers even care. I was Misdiagnosed around 20 years ago by a doctor elsewhere and Maine Behavioral Health REFUSES to take it outta my Medical Records, I keep getting the run around and excuses. Also Mental Health Treatment IS NOT a "One Size Fits All," they claim their policy is to be seen in Office once a year. Which is UNNECESSARY cus I do zoom, and is IMPOSSIBLE for me to get up there and they won't understand that. Your time isn't valuable to ANY doctor which is 1 of the reasons I continue to do zoom, when they make you wait too long I leave zoom and go about my day. Can't do that in person, your concerns mean NOTHING to the providers and they're quick to shut you down cus they didn't come up with it, I've had one doctor who thought me having PTSD was a joke. I don't like male doctors anyway, if I wasn't SCREWED UP I wouldn't be going here anymore. There's no where else to go I haven't already been to
William Grapentine shouldn’t even be a mental health professional. He's the most ignorant person I’ve ever come across.
Is there a phone number cause I can’t find ! I used them before and could use them right about now
I've been going to main behavioral health for 8 years. I've had different providers but I've always been treated with respect. I've had the best counselors and I go to groups every week at which are just phenomenal. Everybody really cares about your well-being. I completely suggest that you go here you won't be disappointed.
Very knowledgeable and Very prompt when it comes to appointments and meetings
#HONESTreviews #honestyisthebestpolicy It takes anywhere if your lucky 3 months, not so lucky possibly 6 months to get your initial appointment if you need to be seen for MM. To get counseling through MBH can take just as long. I personally had a rough experience of being paired with a counselor and she was not knowledgeable in any area I needed to be helped with. I believe they could do a better job at matching clients with appropriate clinical workers. MM, at least in my experience, has exceptional professionals, very well qualified and who really take the time to get to know and work with you so that your needs are correctly taken care of. MBH also has a very well organized calendar of events and classes and group discussions, which cover every aspect you could need to help with your overall emotional, mental, behavioral health and well-being. They also offer these "extras" at both MBH buildings, Biddeford and Springvalle, and also at a place in Sanford. I think that they could make the waiting area in Biddeford look less "institutional" and more warm and inviting and would benefit by having a small kids corner, I see a lot of mothers and fathers alone (including myself) with young children. While the workers all try and mostly do maintain a constant flow of clients in and out, there are times when appointments exceed their limits and if they had a kids area and a more warm setting, especially seeing as it's meant to be a place to help your overall mental health, MBH in Biddeford would be I'm sure in not just my opinion but many others a place where the clients would feel, just by walking in, comfortable and more at ease but also less judged, because let's face it.... Today's society still has a huge stigma on receiving mental health services but if clients felt there was a place like that maybe, just maybe others who also need help would feel that it was ok to ask for this kind of help, without shame and fear. #HONESTreview #MaineBehavioralHealth
