I had the worst interaction with myra. she was incredibly rude and judgmental.i will not be returning

I highly recommend this medical facility.

Dr. Cohen has been a life changer of a doctor for me. He has taken the time to really listen and delve into the problems I’ve been facing and for once in over 20 years he is the first one to give me some answers for what’s going on medically. The other staff is always very friendly, especially his assistant team. -1 star is for the use of a call center, if I wanted to send a message to the team I would have sent it through My Chart, not had somebody else send a message through it.

I had to wait a while before Dr Matt Bush attended to me, but he is always caring and thoughtful. He's willing to be flexible and consider alternative or novel ways of giving care. He was very considerate when he noticed a knee injury during a hand appointment, and went out of his way to consult with his brother to do X-rays and see me on the same day despite not having an appointment for my knee I am still impressed, one year later, and will be having my knee replaced there next month.

I would just like to express how very much I love my Dr Lisa Carpenter. I would also like to say how very much I hate SMHC emergency room for how long it takes to get in and out of there. The staff there are amazing, kind and caring especially Dr Sears but something has to be done about streamlining things. I’ve been in much busier hospitals that took far shorter time. I was there 8 hours! I know it’s not the staffs fault but admin needs to address and improve it!

I arrived maybe three minutes late for my appointment, and I will acknowledge that. However, I was then made to wait an additional 15 minutes as the person running the first point of check in for masking/appointment confirmation had to coordinate getting a wheelchair for another patient, and then struggled to find the appointment of another patient in line ahead of me who showed up on the wrong day. By the time I got upstairs, they had marked me as a no show and cancelled my appointment. While I understand their inability to keep my appointment for that long, I do wish they had called me, as I was literally downstairs waiting on their process for the bulk of the time. As it stands, I had to arrange childcare for my one year old for nothing, all to have them cancel my appointment without even an attempt to check where I was via a call to my cell phone.

I love my doctor Lisa Carpenter's nurse practitioner dr. Lindsay Toppen she is very down to earth and makes me very comfortable ! Overall the whole SMHC Internal Medicine practice is very good!
