We are all in God's waiting room for whatever He has in store for us. We waited for four years to get my grandson into Marcus and we are seeing a big improvement already. They are great and are a blessing to our family! For all those that are waiting, please be patient and wait on the Lord.

It was a long wait. Over a year. But once my son had his evaluation, things progressed in a timely manner. He goes there 5 days a week and absolutely loves it. LOVES IT. I've never had anyone be rude or unprofessional. The program my son is in has helped him so much. It was worth the wait. However you can have your child go to other places while you're waiting. There's nothing wrong in getting an evaluation and getting help from another place while you're on the waitlist.

My son was referred here three years ago (my son is 6 now). I had a couple basic phone calls, did paper work, etc. we patiently waited, and waited, and waited. We heard nothing. After two years of waiting, I called and got no answer. I called the next day and got no answer. The third day that I called I was welcomed by an incredibly rude worker. We are technically still waiting, but I gave up on this place. Luckily for us, we were recommended to another place. With this new place, my son’s autism evaluation was scheduled within a week of talking with the owner/pshychologist. We went from waiting for years, to waiting for minutes. One email would be sent, and she got back to us no more than ten minutes later. A lot of people see the Marcus Center as the end all be all, because that’s what it feels like sometimes. But do your research and look for other places! It is so much easier going to a place that you know cares and wants to help!

This review is based on present and last. My daughter who’s is now 10 has been referred to this center when she was 2.5 and have been seen and tested, they asked to give us a blood test , charged our insurance in which we have never received a call to schedule nor anything. Mind you we still have the testing kit years later and still nothing. Here we are today and she’s doing absolutely fine in school with the help of in school speech in which she’ll be tested out by next school yet. I would say the less if I’ll say find others places just because this is a bigger and known faculty doesn’t means nothing, people get misdiagnosed all the time, so your research to many facilities and teacher professional are out there now.
