It appears no one put reviews here for whatever reason but I will be the first, if need be. I will give 2.5 stars because our experience is in between. Well to start off I want to say that I was so happy to see there were openings right away for my little one to get the therapy he needed and Claudia and Shannon was nice and helpful within that process. 1) when he first started the technician Emalyne that was taking care of my son at the time, bumped his head during her care, he had a huge knot on his forehead and she didn’t report it, I had to say something to them when I noticed it after I picked him up. I was pissed because IMO she made up a story that sounded believable to her boss, bump clearly he had to hit something hard for the knot to be the size that it was. I would not even be saying anything about it if she had of called me right away and reported it, but I guess she was hoping I didn’t see it or something. 2) nothing was ever consistent with the hours or staff, everything changed like clockwork, I guess because people quit and they had to hire new staff so he saw every tech that worked there. 3) during the timeframe my kiddo was there he learned some things and started to speak more, he was also in different environments like school and daycare which more than likely helped him as well. But nevertheless I would not take that from them on their goals they had set, rather he cooperated or not. 4) as it got closer to time for us to leave, it came out to me that the techs didn’t want to work with my child because he’s late arriving at times. Which is asinine as hell if you ask me. First off when dealing with special needs children, NOTHING will be prompt and punctual. Most techs were young and didn’t have kids, so they have no idea what it’s like raising one, let alone one with issues trying to get them together to get from point A to B, pertaining to tantrums, running away, crying etc. Yes, we ran behind some mornings and so did the staff, there were last minute cancellations on their parts because they were sick or whatever, running behind 10-15 mins or times where the tech didn’t even come to the door to get him and other techs walked by and didn’t say a damn thing. So to bring that up was very offensive to me because why are you saying that to me anyway? I’ve met other parents there and had conversations and was told as long as they let them know they were on the way it’s not a big deal if they were running behind or not. They’re still billing the insurance and getting paid so me running 10 mins behind is not a show stopper. They should be happy to have time to get there, put their bags down and wash their hands first. You shouldn’t want to pull up, park, hurry and jump out and grab the child out their parents car then go in. The way things ended was not good and pissed me off and I tried addressing it but it didn’t solve anything. So this place is history to us now, I just wanted to do a review to get some things off my chest.
