I had to deal with one of the temporary doctors. Dr. Tran. She prescribed a medicine for me. It seemed to be OK then she doubled it and my son started getting extremely poor so I called and let them know after two weeks of seeing him, bouncing off the walls at home I was taking him off the medicine. I originally called after the first trip there and told him the trip was too difficult for me to go there, Surprise when I told them, I could not go back. She wrote in her notes that the reason I stopped going years ago, was probably because I didn’t make appointments. This is not true! The reason I stopped going to the program was because the doctor at General hospital Told me that he did not mass health To give him hell Son. It was not my decision!. I was not happy with this doctor, and after 10 years in the program it was a disaster of an experience. I’m sorry to say.

First of all, this is not my real name. But I'll share my real personal experience here as a patient for years. I have been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome in 2008, which is now normally known as Autism Spectrum Disorder. I started as a patient when this clinic was freestanding in North Cambridge. They moved into their own suite in MGH years ago, but I remain a patient. Keep in mind most of the negative reviews here have to do with the intake and acceptance process, but my experiences with the doctors here have been mostly positive. Honestly, I've had less success with Dr. Joshi as my psychiatrist, but have done better with Dr. Atilla Ceranoglu. I am not prone to addiction or drug problems, but he still tries to avoid drugs that may cause dependence or other problems problems, and he is not interested in pushing drugs onto me. I respect that. Most of my appointments are pretty routine, but he listens and responds appropriately when I have concerns. I'm still not convinced psychiatry is a real science, but if you need someone to manage your drugs, you need someone good, and Dr. Atilla has been good to me. I cannot speak for the intake process or the staff because, as an established patient, that was many years ago for me. I wasn't even aware of the Lurie Center for Autism till I read a review here. I'm sorry that other people have been having bad experiences, but there is at least one good doctor here.

Rude office staff who #1 doesn’t take referrals from Mgh primary. #2 doesn’t listen at all… Go elsewhere

I went in because I was having trouble telling thr difference between when I am asleep or awake sometimes. And in my discharge papers the nurse refused to write that. She left no trace at all about how I came in with a potential sleep disorder and gave no resources to follow up on a sleep disorder and they discharged me with no evidence i beeded help or lead to go get help. Obviously I'm a black woman or she wouldn't have lied on the discharge papers saying I had no reason to be there.

Add another horrible review for Bressler. Not only is the front office process a nightmare, you can't count on them to honor their appointments. Started the scheduling process in June of last year, and here it is the week in March before my daughter's appointment, and they call to reschedule to a time we are not available. Why does this place even exist when the MGH's Lurie Center for Autism is so professionally and highly regarded worldwide?

Office staff is extremely unprofessional and rude, despite having been seen here for years. If you enjoy not being belittled on the phone when calling to ask about prescription status, I suggest you find another practice.
