MECA Therapies

I highly recommend MECA for any child with developmental delays or special needs! My child ages out of the program today, and these ladies have become part of the family over the last 3 years! Laura Coffield has been with us since my child was born as his developmental specialist, and she has been such a huge blessing! We had several speech therapists over the last year and a half, all of which were wonderful, but the last of which, Amanda Bellows, took my child from mostly unintelligible chattering to full sentences in about 3 months! Lise Anderson, his COTA, has been with us about 2 years, and she has done wonders with his coordination. They all combined their different therapies effectively to help both my child learn and to teach me how to help my child learn. Our case manager Cassandra Box has been amazing in keeping my child's program on track, as well as any of my questions and concerns taken care of quickly and effectively. They always treated us and our home with respect! Our MECA team has been wonderful, they've gone above and beyond to help get my child caught up to his age group, and I'm sure proud of them! Thank you so much ladies!

MECA Therapies has been a wonderful thing for my son. He has made so much progress in the short time that he has been with MECA. All the staff, including the ones that do not work with my son, are really friendly and will go above and beyond to help us in any way we need. MECA has truly filled a need in Hobbs,

MECA Therapies were very professional when it came to my sons therapist and his Family Service Coordinator. The team was very friendly and time manageable when it came to therapy sessions. They were able to schedule our meetings with the times that I was available. My service coordinator was nice and prompt when it came to meeting with me. This last therapist still hasn't contacted me when the family coordinator told me she was added to my daughters case over a month ago. Meca is not professional. Don't send your kids here. They are supposed to be providing services for children ages 0 to 3 years old. The first therapist I had gotten she was a afraid of dogs I always call to ask them to call or text before they arrive so I can put them away. Each therapist does not do it. So unfortunately the first therapist left upset. I expressed to her make sure to call so I can put them up, because she didn't call and entered my fenced in property and met my dogs they are harmless chihuahuas. After that she kept calling in and I never saw her again. This other therapist I got after her lise she said she was at my house I told her I was there and where was she and later on she was still in Hobbs and asked me for my address at 30mins in to my appointment for my daughter. First off on where your going before leaving Hobbs nm. Next be prepared. She wasnt. Then she never called or texted when she was arriving she didn't like that I also have a cat. She admitted she was allergic to cats and threw a fit about it. I told her she should always call before the appointment so I can put up my animals. They all barge in my house at the appointment time and never let me put up my animals. The other time I told all the therapist to let me know the opened the gate and let my dog out and he almost got hit by a car, because of my therapist from meca. Libbe gave me a hard time about switching therapist. She is not professional. Don't send your kids here.
