MedCare Therapy Center (Hurricane)

Update: Ed returned to Medcare for strength training and stability. He really enjoyed the care and honest instruction and encouragement he received from David, Bodhi, Casey and Robin. He recently met his goals and feels like he is gaining in strength and balance. Erin was amazing in getting Ed scheduled around his other medical appointments and commitments and her reminders were greatly appreciated . Knowing he has an excellency support system near by that he can count on when he needs it has been a wonderful blessing! ***** Mom returned to Medcare PT at the suggestion of her primary care physician. She felt she needed expert advice on which strengthening back exercises were safe for her to do with her past history of back injury and repair. David provided an exercise sheet and set up several sessions to assist with strengthening and mobilization of the spine. He, Andre and Chris were very helpful in outlining safe guidelines and demonstrating the exercises that mom needed to achieve her goals. Again, they made mom feel at home and comfortable with her therapy. Erin was instrumental in making sure mom’s and Ed’s appointments coincided to simplify our busy schedules. My sister-in-law also recently successfully completed therapy at Medcare for a rotator cuff tear and indicated her pain was much relieved after therapy and her function almost back to normal. Our family is very pleased with the results we received following intervention at Medcare and appreciate the excellent care received!

Doing PT here is like being with family as soon as you walk in. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and time goes by so fast. This is my second time needing PT and they always do a fantastic job. Will be my only choice for PT if I have a need in the future.

I had the pleasure of having physical therapy at the Hurricane location for a total knee replacement. The staff was very professional and got me where I needed to be quick. I was discharged for surpassing my goals in just five visits. I have been to MedCare multiple times for rehab and will definitely come again if the need arises.

When I arrived at Medcare I could barely walk. I was in horrific pain and my hip specialist told me I would need to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I didn’t have much hope, but I was determined to try PT and fought for the referral. I have so many good things to say about every employee of Medcare. Thank you David for being willing to work with me even though I have complicated issues. Everyone there was kind, supportive, knowledgeable, encouraging and so very helpful. I am doing better than I ever hoped. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
