Seeing Dr. Ryder at this facility has been one of the best things that could have happened to her.

This is my first appointment at Lake Charles Memorial Behavioral Health Center... but I can say with complete confidence, and in all honesty, there isn't enough stars to accurately rate Lake Charles Memorial Behavioral Health Center!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The staff kind, patient, and welcoming!! And my nurse was absolutely incredible!!!! And I mean that literally... sat there and listened to me complain and she did it with grace!!But most importantly... It was obvious that she genuinely cared!!!! She is so patient, understanding, and super professional!! Not one single employee i saw today, nurse and staff, had a smile on their face... going to this behavioral health center was SO REFRESHING!! Look, I cannot say enough good things about my nurse, she was incredible!!!! She was patient, she listened, she was understanding, she didn't look down at a clipboard or typing on her computer when I was speaking to her, she looked me in my face, WITHOUT JUDGMENT, but with understanding and compassion!!!! So if you're having any type of psychiatric issues...No matter how big or small they may be, go to lake charles memorial behavioral health center... THEY CARE!!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, These people stereotype you and do not help, they will call the police on you instead of helping you! This place needs to be shut down

I literally can not say enough good things about Memorial Behavioral Health Clinc. I have tried MANY places in Lake Charles and this place surpasses them by leaps and bounds. FINIALLY I found a group of people who CARE. I attend counseling here and see a physiatrist here for over a year now. I have always felt listened to and very well taken care of here. They just KNOW what they're doing and are always furthering their knowledge. Because of that, after many years, I finally feel like myself. The peace that I have found because of them, cannot be put into words. I truly feel like they've saved me. Thank you Dr. Valorie and Ms. Elizabeth! The rest of the staff are incredible too. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend anyone at Memorial Behavioral Health Clinc!!! Best place in Lake Charles for your mental health needs!
