I just want to give a shout out to my son's AMAZING speech therapist Kasey Bounds! She has true compassion in her work. My son has autism spectrum disorder, language and speech impairment and so needs speech therapy. We tried with one therapist and it just didn't work out. So I tried again and I'm so glad that we did because Kasey is absolutely 100% in the field and was made for. I owe a TREMENDOUS amount of credit to her skills, patience and kindness to the milestones my son is reaching. She is understanding, accommodating and truly cares for my son. I would not trade her for no one and I would recommend her to any of those in need of speech therapy for their little ones. My son looks forward to his sessions and has learned so much from her. We love Kasey and I know she is going to do great things in her life and the lives of so many children just like my son. 100000000/10 recommend Kasey Bounds.
Staff is very good with kids and answers all my questions. My son always looks forward to coming to therapy.
I am extremely unhappy with my sons speech therapist and will not be returning. I have tried to reach out to several higher ups about the situation and no one is responding. His therapist raises her voice at my son(5) and yells, rips things out of his hands very rudely, and has an overall very annoyed demeanor with him. She was nice to him for the first few months and then slowly over time got verbally aggressive. She has made my son leave in tears on several occasions. I have not said a single word to her about it due to the fact that I have a recording of every single therapy session we have had so that I have proof of her aggressiveness. This is regarding the speech therapist Kasey Bounds.
The women that worked with my granddaughter gave me bad feelings from the start especially the assistant that was with the therapist. She was supposed to have therapy for 12 weeks then it was cut to 10 weeks then after 3 weeks she was basically kicked out of therapy. I picked up very racist vibes from the assistant and they both use to whisper among each other right in front of me which was very weird and disrespectful. Red flags from the start, glad I don't have to see or be around the nasty energy anymore.
