I cannot say enough great things about this place. Always responsive and caring and willing to help. Exactly what we all want and need.

I have been with Mending Minds ever since they took ownership of Family Psychiatry, and I know that I am at the right place for me. I don't have a problem admitting I have severe panic disorder, among many other things. Don Ridenour is my therapist, and is the only therapist I have "clicked" with in 20+ years of dealing with this. Lindsay is absolutely amazing at alleviating the fears I had when Dr Roegnor retired. The portal system is so much easier to handle medication refills, as well as reaching my counselor, at any time. I am so thankful that Lindsay stepped in, and took on the patients that had been with Family Psychiatric. I have nothing but good things to say about Mending Minds, and encourage others who are looking for mental health help, to consider Mending Minds. The staff at the front desk is wonderful, and actually "knows" who I am, beyond just a face and patient #. If you're willing to put in the effort to get better, I would encourage you to consider Mending Minds. I needed to edit this on 2/02/2026 after reading some of the reviews here. For people who express frustration with Shannon; I KNOW that I can be a pain to talk to, because I never get to the point. Yet, in all the times I've spoken with Shannon, I have never, ever, felt talken over, disrespected, or anything that could be misconstrued as less than helpful. I have heard her deal with others on the phone, and Ive never heard her act the way some of these reviews would lead you to believe. This is why I encourage everyone to give Mending Minds a chance. They have, literally, saved me from myself, due to my inability to deal with loss after loss after loss, and more loss looming on the horizon. It takes dedicated professionals to deal with people, like myself, who have so much going on, we don't know where to even begin. So, I can't help but wonder if a patient reviewed the place on a bad day, or if something else was going on in their own lives, as we all do, but I certainly have NEVER experienced the slightest bit of disrespect from anybody at Mending Minds, and I've been there A LOT. I've talked to Shannon. A LOT. Give Mending Minds a chance, and take the time to ask yourself if you're upset that you didn't hear what you wanted to, or if you have a legitimate gripe. Most of the time, I know a little introspection goes a long way. This is why I only review places that I feel strongly about. Mending Minds has brought proper Mental Health Treatment to Kokomo. Again, just my opinion.

Ive been going to Mending Minds for abit now and have made significant progress with my anxiety and depression. I have never felt more heard and cared for before.

The atmosphere and staff make you feel so comfortable! I have never felt more at ease when talking to the therapist I see there. Thanks Mending Minds for helping people with Mental Health!!

I have been going to Mending Minds for about 6ish months now, since my therapist moved there, and I have absolutely loved it. Their facility is warm and inviting with the friendliest receptionists ever. It took them no time at all to know me by name, and over time they've proven they're just as willing to help people as the rest of the staff is. My NPs have always been willing to listen and work with me on trying/changing meds to find what works best for me. But, truthfully, my therapist is the real MVP. Courtney is so kind, understanding, and open-minded. She's easy to talk to and I really appreciate the bond we've formed since I started seeing her.

I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is beautiful and the front desk are always pleasant and kind. My therapist and my psychiatrist are super amazing. I can send a note through the portal at any time and I always get a quick response if I have any questions or problems. They have different therapists that have different specialties so if one isn't working for you, talk to your psychiatrist or Shannon or Mandy at the front desk and they can help you out with finding one that meets your needs. I honestly wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
