I would not recommend this practice. I agreed to a genetic test recommend by my provider. They failed to tell me that the test required preauthorization through my insurance. As a result, the test did not get covered and I am now stuck with a bill. When I called Mental Wellness the first time, I was told they would look into it and get back to me. One month later I received another statement for the genetic testing site in the mail. I called Mental Wellness again. They responded that they never do preauthorization on those. Then they recommended I call the genetic testing site and tell them Im going through financial hardship so it will get written off... wow. That does not sit right with me morally. So now Im stuck with the bill because Mental Wellness "never does preauths." I cancelled future appointments. This is just poor patient care.
i’ve never felt more judged and unheard in my life. i was misdiagnosed, i don’t think you can properly diagnose someone after only talking to them for 30 minutes.
Sherry is so wonderful and understanding, anything I need changed or adjusted at anytime shes always there to help. I ask a million questions and shes so patient with us. Staff at the front desk is wonderful aswell!
She helped me regain balance and clarity and gave me a proper diagnosis. Now I feel better then I have mentally in many years. Thank you for all you do for me and my family.
