If there was an option for zero stars that is exactly what they would get. My loved one was deceived into signing paperwork to move to a locked behavioral health unit. There has been absolutely ZERO COMMUNICATION with family despite numerous requests and the appropriate documentation on file authorizing me to receive this information. I have been met with rude, defensive staff when inquiring about the program, treatment plan and how I can be an advocate for my family member. Since visiting hours are limited to only weekdays from 5pm to 8pm, it is impossible for me to be involved, in person, in any conversations regarding my loved one’s care. I wonder if this is by design. I find it wholly inappropriate to have a patient medicated into a zombie make decisions regarding their care and/or execute legal documents. Further, I found the unit to be prison-like and rooms like a jail cell. An absolutely dehumanizing environment, while the hospital website touts compassionate care with a personal touch. Ha! What a joke! Perhaps, my impression would be different if someone COMMUNICATED with the family about what to expect. My loved one nor I know who the treating physician is or what the plan of care is. Unacceptable! Thus far I have found this alleged treatment program an absolute disgrace. My loved one will never trust any person, program or facility necessary for ongoing recovery. I requested contact information for the hospital administrator, administrator of the BHU, legal department and where to file a grievance and was advised the hospital does not give out this information. Seems to be a common theme. Pretty sure I won’t get anything but a canned response to this review, if any COMMUNICATION at all.
I went to the unit and had no problems they listened to me and my concerns they help me through a tough time in my life
I was having active psychosis and delusions. They showed me the door. Thx 🙃
A person that I care about has been here and I have never had the displeasure of running into such a cacophony of blatantly incompetent buffoons that tell you what they are not going to do before they ask about the diagnosis or treatment previously done by other professionals. Quite rude, condescending and full of themselves. I believe that a veterinarian would be a better choice than this place.
New to the area and was looking for a new provider. Never been treated so rudely in my life! He said there’s nothing I can do for you.. good luck tho! Omg what if I was suicidal? I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Thompson to a dog let alone a human!!
60 hours from Hell to Heaven. God Bless the best of the best. I loved my care. Most amazing 2 days of my life. Roger Wood. Thank, you Drs.
