Dont go here for help chest pains panic attacks anxiety and they do nothing but show you the door or try and send you upstairs they dont care about your ptsd anxiety or mental health downstairs... theirs no help... SMH also hopefully sense my little brother has had two open heart surgeries one heart attack and my mom was also supposed to get me check and never did now im sure its just anxiety with my mental health history but you guys couldn't care less...

I am sharing my experience regarding my child’s stay at between November 11–21, 2025. My child has limited mobility and requires constant supervision. During this period: • My child was able to access other patients’ beds without supervision. • She experienced a fall due to lack of proper monitoring. • Despite being a high-risk patient, the hospital failed to provide adequate supervision and safety measures. I only learned about these serious incidents after reviewing her medical records. I am extremely concerned about the safety protocols and care standards at this facility. I hope the hospital takes immediate action to prevent similar incidents for other children.

Millcreek hospital ad all Lecom places are horrible. In 2003 I was abused and assaulted in there. They insult and scream at physically disabled people. Ignore every special need I have. Deliberately thrown to floor by a nurse. Several witnesses including another patient. In there 3 days and zero sleep. Garbage food. Totally terrified. Force drugged and made sick by drugs. They violated rights of citizens. Forced to sign papers that claimed I know I did a wrong thing. No rest as place was so loud got sick headache and denied Tylenol. Other patients were kind and helpful. This was like a horror movie. Had nightmares for months. Still have PTSD after over 20 years. I am terrified of all health care facilities as a result of illegally being forced to go there. We could have had nurse arrested as well as due for millions.

This place is a joke. All they care about is money, not patient care. I’ve had routine surgery in the past several times, the hospital is now charging me thousands $$$$ and my insurance never changed. According to my insurance the hospital billed it under a different billing code this time. This hospital said it was probably billed under the wrong code each time in the past, and I should stop asking about the new charges and just pay it. A different doctor ordered a test from radiology. The tech miss read the test and preformed a test not needed and not order by the doctor. I was sent back to radiology for the correct test. This hospital billed me and my insurance for both tests. I’ve called asking about both issues, basically I was told just pay your bill. I’ve never had issues like these before with this hospital. I will never be going back or having future procedures at this hospital. They are all absolutely terrible.

This place is an absolute joke. Not sure how these doctors obtained their licenses. My daughter was having a mental health crisis and after two hours they told me they couldn’t do anything because their behavioral unit has a lot of “agitated patients” and they didn’t want her to get “hurt”. I will now avoid anything with a Lecom status.

I would give this place a zero star ive been here multiple times for my mental health and they just dont care about you at all ive had multiple times where ive hurt myself even when I was there for suicide and whenever you do feel suicidal they dont even know what to say to help you they just make you feel worse there has been many people that also have almost killed themselves WHILE THEY WERE THERE FOR SUICIDE never ever send your child there even if it is the closest it will make there mental health worse and they will be back dont let them go.

Requested a call from the DON. Hasn't happened so this is my next avenue. 2 of their 6 BRAND NEW ICU beds are mental health rooms. What does that mean? It means if your loved one gets admitted to one of these rooms theyu get to lay in bed and stare at the walls. Frosted glass (so they can't see out) No TV! NO pictures on the wall, a sterile environment with nothing to stimulate your loved one. No hand sanitizer, no paper towel dispenser. Everything can be put behind a locked panel that is in the walls. (So why couldn't a flat screen TV have the same configuration) .However, if the patient needs a monitor, they bring in a portable one with cables, and if they need an IV, they have to plug it into an electric outlet ( these are dangerous for a true mental health patient that needs isolation). So my request for administration is to spend 3 days in one of these rooms and see what kind of negative effect it has on you, let alone an 85 year old man who is having medical NOT MENTAL health issues. If they don't have mental health issues going into this BRAND new ICU, they certainly will coming out. Is there really a need for this kind of isolation in an ICU? I would hope for future state that you come up with some sort of contingency plan for the unfortunate patients that get placed in rooms 3&4 in the new LECOM ICU. You spent 30 million dollars on this renovation, what is a few hundred to have a portable TV for these patients?

Ahhh wish I knew how to pull the great review that I gave. Sitting at ER now. Absolutely terrible experience, physician was nothing but rude. Dr Barr was terrible. Rib pain, told me he’d give me tylenol- wanted a xray.

What a dumpster fire! My daughter had an ER visit a year ago. Just got the bill within the last couple of weeks. Did not show on the bill that they put the charges through her insurance. Called them and they told me that regardless of what my bill says, they talked with her insurance and I have to pay. Crazy lady in billing even threatened me with collections when I told her I wanted proof that they billed the insurance. I called my insurance and learned that they did bill my daughter's insurance....6 MONTHS LATE. As a result, my insurance had denied the claim since they missed the window to bill. My insurance then called these idiots and told them that since they billed so late they either needed to write it off or rebill through an appeal but that I should not have to pay. Long story short, they billed late, lied and told me they worked it out with the insurance and threatened me with collections when I wanted proof. Save the trouble, go to Hamot if you can. This place is a confused mess. UPDATE: Got a collections letter due to not paying the above bill that they forgot to submit in a timely manner. When I called to tell them this was stupid, they first told me that it would go to collections and they couldn't stop it. When I told them I was prepared to take legal action, they then walked it back and said they will resolve this before it goes to collections. SUMMARY: This place reeks of ineptitude, will lie to cover their mistakes and then try to make you suffer for their incompetence. They are either downright evil or the dictionary definition stupid.
