Appointment canceled after all documents sent in last minute. It's not complexity, it's understanding but I'm looking for care because I do not receive nor can I receive the best through the state. Dr. O, 2 PMHNP recommended reaching out, or having a family member better explain. Option 2.... go up to St Louis/KC area for treatment while I live in Springfield....different PMHNP. Hope to work this out. I also am curious if my insurance has any charges on it since my appt was canceled. Ms. Endress, I'm a lifetime patient, with no oud or Sud, wanting to stop 2 or 3 medicines, and switch 1 for 1. I should mention, I've been in 3 wrecks, 3 conclusions, and was in a chase, wrecked, and attacked. TBI patients shouldn't have to fight for true care. Long or short term. (Fyi current state psychiatrist is very nice but policies stop her from being able to care for me accurately)

My review is long overdue. I am guilty of only writing reviews when I'm unhappy with a particular experience. As a physician who treats brain injuries in the KC area for the past 25 years, Minds Matter has been an invaluable partner in helping my patients return to the community. Medicaid is HARD... both getting on it and accessing the waiver programs. Without Minds Matter doing the heavy lifting on both sides of the coin, many of my patients would have suffered immeasurably. They are such a gift to our community!

What has my 7 years of service taught me? That minds matter. This is a company of well educated people. They all share the same heart for bettering the lives of those affected by T.B.I. Consisting of both assistants and licensed therapists. They willingly give their all with what is available. Sometimes that might be a PTA instead of an officially licensed PT, but that doesn't mean your services have to suffer. All PTAs are supervised by a licensed therapist. All employees are required to submit a progress report after each session. Patients always have the option to sign it if possible. However, if you ever feel that your therapist, licensed or not, isn't cutting it, then all you need to do is request someone else. They'll get right on it. Sometimes you get a replacement therapist that week, but sometimes after 2 weeks. It all depends on who’s available. I hope this review is helpful to you. Are they perfect?
