I had three sessions with them and the people I worked with were not only very respectful, but not judgmental whatsoever. They helped me with myself and having proper documentation and understanding of what I have. I have a 6 year old son who was having a lot of trouble with emotional regulation. Having meltdowns that would last hours sometimes. Very frustrating for him and me, both. Someone recommended neurofeedback therapy with Dr. Velin. At this point we were willing to try anything. I was very skeptical at first. For the first 15 weeks, it seemed like nothing was changing. After we stuck through the full 30 weeks, however, we noticed a huge change in our son. Before, so many things would upset him and set him off so quickly. Now, he seems to be able to pause and think for a minute and fully comprehend what we are telling him so that he can process the information without getting so upset. It's been almost 3 months since he has had a meltdown which is huge for us! He's a different kid! So much easier to talk to and be able to explain things to whereas before, it was so hard to get through to him. I am truly grateful we chose to do this for our son. Our initial assessment was with Dr. Pearce. She was great! I was super impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. Dr. Velin and his entire staff are so kind and friendly. I felt that my concerns were heard. With their recommendations of both reading material and with the neurofeedback, we were able to get some help for our son that made a huge impact in all of our lives. Thank you so much! For people who give mental health evaluations you really don't care about the actual symptoms of what you're diagnosing. It was not made clear to me initially it would be $1,000 upfront because I thought it would go through my insurance from what I initially understood. They don't care about you or your diagnosis as long as they get their hands on that $1,000. You're a dollar sign with a diagnosis to these people. I would rather get a diagnosis from a cereal box than from these people I am happily not going to give any money to. I recommend providence instead because the seem to actually care about human beings and their issues instead of getting their chunk of change out of you. Greedy people taking advantage of the neurodivergent.

Amazing place, really thorough with their testing. They first took the time to delve deeply into my symptoms since childhood, then proceeded with testing. Thanks to that I was able to get both my ADHD and autism diagnosed. I couldn’t be happier with the clarity and support I received. They also recommended several helpful resources and places for ongoing support, and overall I found the staff to be kind, professional, and supportive. One thing to keep in mind: you do have to pay the full price upfront. In my case, I received my insurance reimbursement about 2-3 months later, so plan accordingly.

These folks saved my life! My diagnosis was so comprehensive that it took months of tests and evaluations. They were able to show me how my neurodiverse brain processes information, and how best to function with my challenges. Suddenly my entire life made sense! And they were patient as I paid off my bill, which was worth EVERY DOLLAR!

The entire staff has been incredibly kind and helpful. Dr. Velin has been a God send! Our son was really struggling to focus and stay on task among other things and in the last year with Dr. Velin’s help he has made tremendous progress. I highly recommend them!

We truly feel so lucky and blessed to have Dr. Velin here in Montana. After years of being on a waiting list, our boys’ school referred us to him, and to our surprise, we were able to get in and meet with him just a couple of weeks after our first call. Dr. Velin has been an incredible support for our family—he’s not only extremely knowledgeable, but also very down to earth and easy to talk to.
