Heidi in social work services lied to me and ended up getting me placement with an awful setting. Told me I was denied by Clear Sky when I wasn’t even referred. Clear Sky was never asked and had I of been I would have been able to go there. Also staff stole my phone charger.
In general, my parents have received great care from the doctors, nurses, staff at Mosaic over the decades. We are so grateful. Most recently, Dr Bader has been my dad's internal medicine doctor. I can't say enough great things about him. He has helped our family navigate through difficult care choices with, grace, compassion and honesty of the reality. As a daughter, it's comforting to know he is that kind of doctor. His approach is so appreciated in stressful circumstances. And to the rest of the staff we've interacted with, my sincere thank you. You all do make a difference.
I have a bad experience with your worker Hannah from the cafeteria in the main entrance yesterday she was rude and very sarcastic. If she doesn't like her work place. She just quit.
My 34 year old son had a stroke out of the blue while working in St Joseph, MO. He was taken to this hospital and I was notified. He was there for two weeks and I was there with him. The team of Drs, Nurses, Techs, Aides, Admissions and even the cafeteria staff truly cared for my son. When it came to me as mom, they treated me with the kindest and upmost respect. Every single person that I encountered was so kind and understanding. They truly went above and beyond in guiding me to the best treatment for my son. He would absolutely not be where he is now without this hospital and its caring staff that work so well together as a team. I will truly be forever grateful . Also worth mentioning, the hospital is clean and sanitary.
Today I had a surgical procedure done at Mosaic, and I want to talk about the care I received, because, WOW. The nurse who walked me back after check-in was named Wendy. Yes, like the restaurant. She made sure we all knew that 😅. She was genuinely funny, kind, and made sure I was settled and comfortable right away. The nurse who started my IV and took care of me before surgery also had an excellent sense of humor, which I desperately needed because I was pretty nervous. She looked over my chart and casually reminded me that since I had a way more serious operation done three weeks ago, this recovery would be nothing like that. Bless her for that alone. I already knew the surgeon, Dr. Amspacher, was fantastic because I have met him a couple of times, but he still took the time to stop in, mark everything, check in with me, and make sure my husband and I felt good about the plan and had no questions. Calm, confident, and reassuring. The anesthesiology team deserves a special shout-out. Three weeks ago, when I went under anesthesia, I panicked right beforehand because no one was talking to me. They were just…putting me under. This time, I asked that someone talk to me. Whoever the anesthesiologist’s assistant was, I am terrible with names, he absolutely showed up. In the OR, he could tell I was still anxious, so he held my hand 😭. That is the last thing I remember. Less than an hour later, I woke up in recovery with a gentle nurse who made sure I was comfortable and reunited me with my husband as quickly as possible. I may not remember everyone’s name, but every single person who cared for me today deserves recognition. The compassion, professionalism, and humanity I experienced were incredible. They answered their calling, and this patient is beyond impressed.
Top notch staff and care
Had a vascular surgery done at St. Joe by Dr. Boggs! He did an amazing job. The nursing staff was great. Food was good! I got great care here . Thank you
Worst hospital ever. Fell and broke my nose. Sat in the ER waiting room for over 2 hours bleeding nonstop. Tell nurse I'm getting really dizzy and feel like I'm going to pass out. They take my vitals 4 times and my blood pressure was 160/115 the or if 4 times. The fourth time it was 150/90 and told me my vitals look fine. I don't know how this hospital is even still in business being this worthless.
Warning about Mosaic’s Billing Department: A Cautionary Tale My daughter was seen at Mosaic in January and February of 2025. She’s had the same insurance for over a decade. Yet Mosaic failed to submit the claims to her insurer within the required six-month window. I was never notified of any issue until September—when I received a single letter stating the account had already been sent to collections. From January to September, I had no reason to believe anything was wrong. I assumed the insurance had paid, as they always had. But Mosaic never filed the claim. When I contacted their billing department, I was told they sent one notice in September. One. No phone calls, no emails, no follow-up. No opportunity to apply for financial assistance or resolve the issue before collections. I had to do their job—dig through old claims to prove they had my insurance on file, which they denied. Even after my insurance company worked with them to allow a resubmission, Mosaic continued to submit the claims incorrectly. Now I’m being harassed by a collection agency during work hours because of their incompetence. Mosaic’s billing department failed to follow basic procedures, ignored their own guidelines, and shifted the burden onto me. If you’re considering care through Mosaic, be warned: their billing practices are negligent, and their communication is nonexistent.
