10/10 recommend this place!! We have been going here only two months but my daughter has shown such improvement in a short time. All of the therapists are exceptional, but we could not be more grateful for our sessions with Alexia! She is exactly what my daughter needed. She is so patient, loving, and kind to my almost 2 year old. When off-task, she is able to redirect my daughter so quickly and in ways that I wouldn’t have even thought of. Couldn’t be more grateful for this place!!!

When my daughter first started going here her vocabulary was limited, balance was off and she was limited in her mobility. Now she is running around like the other 7 year old kids and has and extensive vocabulary. I have seen a huge change in her and it’s all because of this place. She is always excited to go to her sessions and everyone there is so nice! From the receptionist to the therapist, thank you for all that you do. I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10

PART 2 Every therapist has had wonderful strategies to prevent meltdowns, and because of their efforts, we have already seen so much progress since starting in July. He no longer struggles with trigger words like “stop,” “done,” or “no.” He no longer resists handwashing & in fact, he now goes straight to the hand wash station on his own, washes with minimal help, dries his hands, and throws the towel in the bin. Writing this makes me teary-eyed because of how far he’s come in such a short time. We are also very thankful for the clinic’s staff behind the scenes. Ms. Reyna, the scheduling coordinator, is wonderful, very accurate, thorough, and detailed. If she’s not available, Ms. Angie and the rest of the team step in seamlessly. Their OceanFriends app makes our lives so much easier, and the therapists consistently submit session notes the same day, which blows my mind btw and gives us immediate insight into our son’s progress. We truly cannot say enough good things about the entire team at Motivated Kids Therapy Clinic. They are dedicated, compassionate, and absolutely wonderful at what they do. We feel so fortunate to be part of this community, and so grateful for the progress our son is making because of them. P.S. I do not understand the 1 star review here tbh

PART 1 My husband and I rarely find the time to write reviews, but I felt it was important to share our experience because of the truly outstanding care we’ve received in just two months. The clinic itself has the best therapists in the world. It’s very clean, organized, and truly welcoming. We feel so lucky to witness not only the progress our son has made, but also the wonderful work they do with other kids. The environment also gives children a chance to interact with one another, which has been such a valuable socialization opportunity. We are beyond grateful for Ms. Monica and the entire team at Motivated Kids Therapy Clinic. Ms. Monica has been an outstanding occupational therapist, always going above and beyond to support not only our son but also us as parents. She provides printed resources to help us better understand our son’s condition and our rights (we’ve been having issues with school), which has been so empowering. One of our favorite milestones happened there with her! Our son’s very first real jump with two feet in the trampoline! He’s never done that before as he used to be seemingly jumping with one foot in a skipping manner that has always scared me. Earlier today, he sat and built houses with magnetic tiles for over 10 minutes. Yes, over 10 minutes and we are so happy and celebrating as my son does not sit still lol there’s so much more but I can’t put them into writing with my mama brain. Our son also does fill-ins for Speech, and we’ve been so impressed by how smoothly the therapists coordinate with one another. It feels like they’ve known our son from the very beginning. It’s clear they take the time to review his case before every session, and every interaction has been such a pleasant experience. Special thanks to Ms. Brooklyn and Ms. Sabrina. Ms. Brooklyn did our evaluation and was incredibly thorough and patient with us. She’s also has taken the time to listen to our concerns & has worked wonderfully with our son. We luckily have Ms. Sabrina for the hours we are able to do speech. So she spent more time with us and has been wonderful to our son and to us in teaching us strategies to support our son’s communication at home, encouraging him to use his words more naturally without excessive prompting. And so much more! Yesterday, our son asked her “help me” without being prompted. I fought back tears & all smiles, but in my heart I was overflowing with emotion. We also feel so lucky to have been assigned to Ms. Kate, another amazing OT. There’s an instance where she’s let us use her room (I think all of the therapist I will mention here does not mind sharing their beautiful & well thought of rooms when not in use), even if it meant making a mess at her sensory table & she’s not even assigned to my son yet. She’s made therapy so fun for our son, like turning the trampoline into a playful and safe space with yoga balls. She has been incredibly kind and patient with our son, able to calm him even during meltdowns when he becomes upset or hits. My husband and I are truly in awe of her care. We have never felt judged; instead, we have always felt seen, understood, and supported. She also provides us with practical suggestions for what we can do at home, both in person and in her session notes. We also want to recognize Ms. Maggie (we had 2 amazing sessions with her), who, even when not assigned to us, has shown such kindness. On a couple of occasions when our son was having a meltdown, she quickly and thoughtfully handed us a toy she knew he liked. She did this so efficiently while balancing her own responsibilities, and it meant so much to us. Our son has also had sessions with Ms. Addie, Ms. Jenna, and Ms. Breanne, and each of them has been amazing, patient, friendly, and professional. No wonder he is always excited to come to therapy and never wants to leave!

Mr. Michael is wonderful! Our 6 week old was diagnosed with torticollis resulting in a flat spot and right side pull. Mr. Michael helped us avoid a helmet, as well as recognizing the many effects torticollis had on her little body. Now at 5 months, she is hitting all of her milestones early and has a beautiful round head. I strongly recommend bringing your babies to Mr. Michael! He was fantastic with our girl, and did such a good job of explaining and teaching us so we could continue working with her at home. Therapy went from daunting to our favorite part of the week! Thank you so much Mr. Mike!

I wish I could give this clinic zero stars. I initially reached out with all the requested information for my son, including a referral that their office specifically asked for via email. I had already spoken with his insurance, who confirmed the referral was accepted and advised me to sign up directly with the clinic. After sending the referral as instructed, I was abruptly told they could no longer assist me through email and that I needed to call instead. When I called, I spoke with someone named Angie, who was dismissive and unhelpful. She claimed they needed a “dated” referral—despite the fact that the referral I sent was clearly dated. At that point, it became very clear that this clinic had no genuine intention of helping my son. This shift in attitude only came after they reviewed his last name and saw his ASD diagnosis, which raises serious concerns about how they treat certain families. I'm genuinely relieved I discovered this behavior early on. There are plenty of other clinics that provide respectful, compassionate service—and we’ll be taking our business to one of them. I’ll also be sharing the email correspondence and overall experience with the FTC, BBB, and other agencies to ensure this situation is properly reviewed and to advocate for better treatment of families seeking care for children with disabilities.

We absolutely love Motivated Kids. Ms. Monica and Ms. Sabrina are angels and have helped our son have a better quality of life with all of their support they offer during his sessions. My son is always excited on therapy days. They even know my other children’s’ names and always say hi when they see them with us. :) All therapists are so sweet, you can tell they enjoy what they’re doing and genuinely want to help. 100000% recommend.
