Mountain Therapy

Will not respond to me for an appointment on the website messaging, email, or phone call. Edit: they emailed me after seeing my review. They emailed me once a day for about a week and still never let me know of any availability or not. I would respond promptly and with the information they requested. I wouldn’t hear back for about 24 hours each time. Then told me they wouldn’t schedule me because I am too impulsive because I wouldn’t change my review. I inquired with a few other places and they promptly responded with availabilities. I’m all for using the right to refuse service. I just think it’s funny that their reason for refusing me - as a mental health wellness institution - is for being too impulsive. Below are the full conversations, notice dates. I messaged the site on the morning of the 26th. You can see 3 different conversations spanning almost a week, and they never called or set anything up. Hope this isn’t the experience anyone else receives but it is mine.

Mountain Therapy has been so helpful for my family. The onboarding process was smooth and easy, the hours that the counselors are available work really well for a working family, and they have the best counselors in the business. I also love that there is always pets and therapy animals in the building. If you're looking for counseling give these guys a shot.

My daughter and I have been seeing Emily for a few years. My daughter is on the spectrum and doesn’t trust easily. Emily has won and kept that trust. Emily has also been my therapist through some really rough times. Her and her staff are very caring.

I'm so thankful I found Mountain Therapy. When I took my daughter in for an appointment I met Emily. Talking to her and the office staff I realized this wasn't just the place for my daughter but the place for me as well. If animal therapy helps you like it does us then you are where you need to be. Therapy was a struggle in the past at other places, but now I know we just needed to find the right people and the right place. We haven't wanted to miss a session since then.

Emily was a great therapist and helped me through some very tough things as a teenager. However, their billing dept. has sent me to collections over and over again for a bill that had already been fully paid when I was a minor.
