Move U

I feel like I can't explain enough about how Mrs Kristin has impacted our son's life! We started with a little boy who was just so frustrated that he didnt understand his emotions and body movements; and now we have a boy who is ABLE to express himself, talk through his emotions, regulate his body better and says often, "Mrs Kristin showed me how to. ." As a mom and dad who have tried everything we thought we could, we are SO grateful of this place! They are absolutely the best. So proud of our son!

We were struggling with our 4 year old (big feelings, quitting before even trying, struggles with transitioning) and were looking for ways to address - especially before going to pre-school/school. Our friends suggested Move U as they had similar issues with their child and had seen a huge improvement in regulation. We decided to try Pediatric Occupational Therapy - banking on investment now for large gains later. All of the things Kristin and her team focus on are all things that we've never heard about or considered about movement, behavior, and all of the connections our brains and bodies make. While we won't pretend to understand too much, we CAN say that we've seen significant improvement in our child's ability to regulate and to try new things. Our child loves seeing "Coach Kristin" and going to his "Training" sessions (can you tell it is an Olympic year?!!) and his older siblings are jealous they don't get to go 😂. To be upfront: it is a financial and time commitment. Insurance coverage is limited and to see a maximum benefit (in our opinion) we did twice a week sessions. We're about halfway through but the reduction in emotional drainage in our home life has been invaluable.

Move U has been such a blessing to our family! Everyone that works there is so friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter has made so much progress and we have had nothing but amazing experiences!

Kristen and her team at Move U are absolutely incredible, and so very innovative with their therapy for our sons (8&9). The improvement we have seen over the past few months is incredible. Their assessment shows it and we see it at school and at home. They truly treat our kids like family and are unbelievably talented with their methods. I highly recommend Move U and know they will work hard to help you achieve success.

We have had such a wonderful experience at Move U! Both Kristin and Kylee have been so hands on and knowledgeable while working with our son. He has strengthened his core and balance, while gaining confidence in trying new, and typically difficult things for him. We have been very impressed with the progress he has made in just two short months. I would definitely recommend Move U! I wanted to add, that since my first review, we have added PT with Paige for our son. He has continued to gain confidence and body awareness, as well as strengthening his muscles and balance. He has always struggled with PT because it's often been the hardest therapy for him. But at Move U, he is having so much fun that he doesn't even realize how hard he is actually working. His brother and sister even complain about not getting to come join in during his sessions! We love Move U and continue to recommend it!

Move U has done wonders for my daughter. Since starting physical therapy at Move U she has grown noticeably stronger, more confident in movement and a better stretching routine, critical for her muscles. The staff is amazing and has created a welcoming and fun environment for kids to grow and learn! Therapy sessions feel engaging rather than like added work and clinical. My daughter is always excited to go there and leaves feeling accomplished and strong! We are so grateful for the impact that Move U has made on her both physically and mentally! Her growth and development since starting there has been incredible to see!

Our two-year-old daughter was struggling with becoming easily overstimulated in large groups, busy environments, and especially around loud noises. After working with Kristin, we saw incredible progress. The changes were truly remarkable. Kristin has a unique way of working with children that creates a safe, nurturing, and creative space where they can learn, grow, and truly thrive.
