Awesome services and great team!! Keep up the great work :)
I would strongly recommend looking into other clinics before choosing MFT for services. While there are a few dedicated staff members, I observed consistent issues during my time there that significantly affect the quality of care and professionalism. There appears to be a lack of focus on genuine therapeutic progress. Many children remain in the program for extended periods without noticeable improvement, and in some cases, children who do make progress stay longer than necessary rather than transitioning into community settings. This raises concerns about treatment goals and priorities. Communication within the clinic is very limited. Support staff often cannot provide clear information about a child's day, and I rarely received updates about incidents or behavior concerns. My child frequently came home dirty, unchanged, and occasionally injured without explanation or follow-up from staff. Illness seemed to spread often, suggesting inconsistent hygiene practices. Supervision and clinical involvement are minimal. The primary BCBA is rarely present on-site, and the other BCBA is not actively engaged with staff or clients when support is needed. This lack of clinical guidance affects both child progress and staff performance. Professional conduct from staff is another concern. I witnessed staff members making inappropriate comments about children, and there were frequent instances of unprofessional behavior and poor treatment of families. Staff attire was often inappropriate for a clinical setting, which did not reflect the standards expected in a therapeutic environment. Some administrative staff were also difficult to reach and slow to respond to concerns. In summary, if you are seeking a center focused on progress, communication, professionalism, and child safety, I would advise exploring other options. There are compassionate individuals who work here, but the overall structure and leadership do not support a high-quality therapeutic environment.
While some individual staff members were kind, our overall experience at My Favorite Therapists was disappointing . My child worked with a different RBT almost constantly, making it difficult to build consistency and trust. Every time he began to build rapport, he was assigned someone new, and the cycle of “pairing” would start all over again. This went on for the entire time he was at the clinic. How can meaningful progress happen if a child is always meeting new people instead of working on behaviors or life skills? Communication was inconsistent, and some concerns were only addressed after we brought them up when staff should have raised them first. Sessions often felt more like glorified babysitting than therapy. In the end, we chose to seek services elsewhere and cannot recommend this clinic. Every situation is different, but based on our experience, if you want hands-on ABA therapy with consistent staff,PROACTIVE communication, and TRUE parent involvement, this is not the place for your child.
My son has been receiving behavioral therapy and food therapy. He has improved by the grace of God. They gave me ideas which I followed and I think it was the best. . Thanks Chistopher, Nick. Jennifer and all the others for taking care of my little one
I cannot recommend this place enough! They have helped my son in so many ways. Everyone is so kind and thoughtful. They are very hands on and work with your family in every way! I will forever be grateful! Thank you MTF team for everything you do everyday for our family!
