NeuroSPARK Therapies

We have had a great experienc with Sharon at NeuroSPARK. My son had participated in OT services with a different organization and we unfortunately saw minimal progress. Having the multidimensional approach at NeuroSPARK (in our case, with reflexes) has made a huge difference!

We love Sarah! We started out with her at school, and now come to her new office. She’s started some new therapies with my son over the summer that have had amazing results so far this school year. She is very compassionate with her work and what she’s doing is results driven. She always focuses on what works for us, not what worked for everyone else. I definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a great OT!

Way too often today in the medical field, you can feel more like you or your loved one is just a chart on someone's desk rather than a patient or even a person. That was not the case at all at NeuroSPARK. My grandson was recently diagnosed with a genetic "disorder" so rare that there are only 750 people in the entire world that are known to have it. My dude is a tough one though and is always making progress. But like all of us, he just needed a little help. He has some retained primitive reflexes that have been hindering his development. NeuroSpark helped us identify these retained reflexes. The staff at NeuroSPARK was so welcoming, informative, patient, and loving that it was truly a blessing for my family. I saw my little buddy improve so much in just 5 days. It has now been a couple of weeks since his 5 day intensive and he is still making progress in every way. But even as wonderful as that is, the fact that the staff truly wanted his progress as much as we did was invaluable. They were so kind and they knew how to get my grandson to push HIMSELF to reach goals instead of them pushing him. And all the while they were maintaining patience and ensuring he was having fun. My grandson worked his butt off and was a tired boy every afternoon, but he had a blast, and he got the work in that he needed. The love that they showed my Bubster and my family was genuine. It wasn't a put on or "part of the business", it was real. They have state of the art equipment and they have the knowledge and understanding to get the most benefit out of it. Even better though, they equip YOU with the knowledge and confidence you need to continue your progress at home. They worked with us in every way possible and truly met us where we are as a family. I was careful to not mention names in this review although I wanted to, but I beleive every member of their team had the same mindset and goals as our therapists did. They all greeted us and our family with warm smiles and encouraged my buddy every chance they had, even if they were working with another child. You could see that same love showed toward every child and family that was there.

We came to neurospark specifically knowing that if Emily was involved it was going to be phenomenal! Emily is very passionate and knowledgeable and everyone there has been incredible! We see Becca weekly for speech and she is wonderful and very patient! Emily and Sarah taught me SO much during our intensive, it's obvious they deeply care and are invested in each childs success. The baseline that we were at compared to where we are three or so months out is very encouraging. Our progress was very stagnant until the intensive and now we see continual improvement and have so much hope!

5/5 would recommend!! We followed Ms. Sarah (OT) once NeuroSPARK opened. She had previously worked with my son and has been working with my daughter for almost a year now. She has been life changing for our family. She is always learning new, research-based practices, and implementing what she thinks is best for my child. She listens to our concerns and does NOT provide a ‘one size fits all’ approach. We’re so happy with our experience so far that we’re hoping to utilize other professionals on the NeuroSPARK team.

We've been in a lot of therapies since my son was nine months old. We know the drill. NeuroSpark gets it. From jump. They go above and beyond to understand your child and what their needs are. They are flexible and so, so empathetic and kind. They aren't afraid to try new things and meet you where you are. I am excited to continue our journey there and hope for new knowledge and discoveries!

We recently had the privilege of attending NeuroSPARK's 5 day NeuroIntensive with my 3yr old grandson. Theo was recently diagnosed with SATB2-associated syndrome and he has received traditional occupational, developmental, physical and speech therapies since he was a year old. We were in desperate search of somewhere that would look at the whole child and specifically target his retained primitive reflexes. From the moment I first spoke to Emily on the phone, I was impressed with her vast knowledge and her dedication to continue to learn new ways to help children just like our precious Theo. She put me at ease and I knew right away this was what we'd been praying for! By the time our week-long NeuroIntensive came, I felt like we'd been friends forever. The NeuroSPARK crew made us feel like part of their family, creating a truly supportive and nurturing environment. Throughout the sessions, it was clear that Emily was not only highly skilled as an OT, but also deeply committed to my grandson’s progress. I learned so much throughout our week there. Emily made sure I was equipped with the knowledge to help Theo thrive. We were also able to set up some time to meet with Ms. Becca and she was able to provide us with valuable insight and suggestions for Theo's speech journey, as well. Theo was able to thrive in such a positive and encouraging space. Other therapists casually walking by during his sessions would cheer him on and he loved it! His confidence grew, and his ability to engage with tasks improved steadily. I could tell he enjoyed the therapy sessions and felt more comfortable each time he returned. Every morning I'd ask him if he was ready to go play with Ms. Emily and I was always answered with an excited, "yes!" We are so grateful for this experience. Finding this place was definitely Divine intervention! It’s amazing to see Theo reach new milestones, and we couldn’t be happier with his results. I would highly recommend NeuroSPARK to anyone facing challenges with their loved ones. The combination of expert knowledge, care and genuine compassion has made all the difference in our journey. We love NeuroSPARK and can't wait to come back! We are blessed to call them family now.
