Julie, was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. She was also able to get us in pretty fast. They don’t accept insurance, but their prices were reasonable. I gave three stars only because during the appointment she said my son should see a cardiologist and that she would give us a referral. We never received the referral and so I called and emailed probably at least six times. Never heard anything back. No response whatsoever. I thought that was really weird. But other than that, we had a good experience. I was told if we ever needed anything then to just reach out, but apparently that is not the case
Julie is an absolute angel. She is offering a service that our community so desperately needed. I literally cried when I found NeuroSpectrum Diagnostics. The Ackerman Center wouldn't return my calls, and there was no other place that offered autism evaluations for kids, that accepted our insurance. The only other option was a place that didn't accept any insurance at all, and charged a minimum of $1800 for an evaluation. What a joke. Julie experienced the whole process first hand, which gave her compassion for other parents going through the same thing. She truly cares and it shows. With a condition like autism, you always hear people talking about early intervention. So it is beyond heartbreaking when you can't find the resources to offer your child that early intervention. I can't say enough amazing things about our experience. Julie was very thorough. Not rushed at all. She asked all of the right questions, had me interact with my daughter and even interacted with my daughter herself. She got down in the floor with her and really thoroughly evaluated her. She is passionate about what she's doing and it radiates. She went over some of the trials and recent studies with me that I was unaware of. She gave us a packet with all of the forms we needed (including the fa11f form for insurance to cover ABA). She even has a questionere full of questions that we may want to ask potential ABA therapists when interviewing different places to find the right place for us. Questions I wouldn't ever think to ask. It's just the thoughtfulness of it that stood out to me. I had almost given up when I found this place. We were prepared to move to a different state just because of this. If you are in a similar situation, don't give up hope. We went in for an evaluation, and came out with greater knowledge, resources and a new friend. THANK YOU JULIE 💜
No waitlist because it’s a newer place. Didn’t take our insurance but pricing was extremely reasonable. Was great with our 4 year old and gave us everything we needed to get her the help she will need. Extremely understanding and thorough with her explanations and answering questions. 10/10 recommend.
I have been on a waitlist for six months trying to get my son evaluated for autism, but then I found this place online and I was able to get my son an appointment in one week. It was such a detailed experience we learned so much and the doctor spent three hours with us! He was ultimately diagnosed with a high functioning level 1 autism but we now have him in ABA therapy and his symptoms have improved so much. Thank you neurospectrum for helping our son get the diagnosis and classes he needed to improve!
I am so happy we found this place. My son has been on a waitlist for 5 months just to get an initial consultation appointment for testing. He’s 18 months and not talking at all! Our pediatrician said he was very concerned on his autism screening question and said he is showing high risk. So we had started him in speech therapy but there wasn’t any progress, so we were really scared about it being autism. I have tried and tried to get him seen but everyone is booked for months and months and months, if they return your call at all! Dr. Julie was able to see him the same week without any wait list! I booked the appointment online. After the test I was so relieved to find out he is not testing on the spectrum. She went over a lot of details and possible causes of his speech delay. Also the best thing, she was able to get our insurance to increase his speech therapy to 4 times a week and referred us to other specialist to make sure there isn’t any other issues causing the delay. Hopefully, he’s just going to be a late talker. But I’m so happy we know it’s not autism.
