I cannot say enough good things about this place. They stayed open in person during the pandemic when my child most needed early intervention. I am indebted to the speech therapist who saw early signs of autism that others had ignored. My daughter has done so well with getting early intervention. The practitioners were knowledgeable, patient and competent. Highly recommend. Postin this just now in 2026 as I'm trying to get her records and even the lady on the phone was so helpful, professional and kind.

Mylene (PT) is the best! She worked so hard with my daughter to treat her torticollis and also improved her motor skills incredibly! Not only is she great at what she does but she’s also a kind person and has built a great rapport my daughter and our family. I wish we had found her sooner! Cannot say enough good things about her. Highly recommend!

My son sees Mary Claire for PT and we cannot say enough great things! We have seen significant growth since starting PT. Mary Claire is kind and caring and my son always enjoys his sessions with her! I am a SLP and provide therapy myself to children and I can attest that Mary Claire is an excellent PT and I have had a wonderful experience with NBPR!

Cannot recommend NBPR enough...Jessica Nicholson (SLP) and Gillian Sturdivant (PT) were amazing and worked with my daughter and our family for 13 months. My daughter was born with tongue and lip ties which were just a small visual of larger fascial tissue restrictions which presented incredible challenges breastfeeding and gross motor skills (rolling, sitting, crawling, walking). Jessica provided pre and post-frenectomy support, guiding us through the appropriate care my daughter needed to improve tongue positioning and movement which are so important for many things!! She is a wealth of knowledge and not only supported us with the frenectomy but tummy time, solid foods, open/straw cup drinking, breastfeeding, and more. We commuted 40 miles twice a month for 13 months to have Gillian's incredible support, I will never be able to thank her enough!! We had a successful 14 month breastfeeding journey and my daughter met all gross motor milestones on time thanks to Gillian. She provided exceptional craniosacral therapy through functional and fun activities beginning with breastfeeding and ending with obstacle courses. While breastfeeding my infant daughter, I could feel the difference of CST when fascial tissue restrictions were released with my daughter-and she was always very happy working with Gillian. Jessica and Gillian collaborated so well together to make the perfect treatment plan not only for my daughter but for our entire family, even involving older sister and my spouse in sessions. They are the most genuine, kind, and knowledgeable professionals I've ever worked with. Thank you Jessica and Gillian for supporting us!!

We had such a great experience at New Beginning Pediatric Rehab!! Our son saw Jess N for feeding therapy due to a lip tie and we couldn't be happier with her attention to detail, knowledge, kindness, and resources! Since we liked her so much we continued to see her and Gemma C for speech therapy just to make sure we kept him on track. We would recommend New Beginning to ANYONE needing help with feeding or speech therapy!

I highly recommend this place! Louisa Lopez (speech therapist) has been working with my son for only 4 months and I’ve already seen so much improvement with his speech (receptive and expressive). She is always looking out for my son’s best interest and she takes the initiative to make sure she is working towards the same goals as his school speech therapist. She believes everyone working with him needs to be on the same page to help my son be more successful! She has noticed issues that other specialists have brushed aside. She helped me feel heard and that I was not imagining these issues. She is constantly giving us tips to help improve his expressive and receptive language. She is very attentive and provides information about his sensory needs to help him be more successful with his progress. I cannot say enough good things about Louisa Lopez and I feel so fortunate that she is working with my son!

Best Place in Maryland! We love the staff and how clean, SAFE and professional New Beginnings Pediatrics is. They have so much to offer here. My son goes for Speech & OT and he loves his Teacher’s. Teacher Louisa is amazing! Not only is she bilingual but she truly cares for her students. My son started off non verbal and has improved so much within the last year and a half with Louisa. I highly recommend bringing your children here. Nothing but honest teachers helping you navigate to providing the best care for your children.

We have had a wonderful first year with New Beginning. Sarah, Elise and Melissa have all been exceptional speech and occupational therapists, going above and beyond for our child. We have seen a miraculous improvement in such a short time, and we know that it’s thanks to their hard work, empathy, and willingness to work with both our child and us as parents: we are all so much better equipped now with the tools they’ve provided in order to meet the goals we’ve placed together.
