New Horizons has been such an amazing part of my growth and recovery since my injury, mentally & physically. Working with Andrew Bogdanov as my fitness trainer has helped me become more independent. I have no idea what the drivers name was but he was the worst his hair was standing up his clothes were a mess and he was very rude. I would not let my wife ride with him all he did was run off at the mouth and say her appointment was at 10:40am and I told him no he got mad they need better drivers.

I've seen New Horizons transportation vehicles around town but never knew what else they had to offer. While I was shopping unsuccessfully for a walker for my husband, I found out through a stranger that New Horizons had durable medical equipment that they loan. I went to speak to them. Cindy was so nice and polite! She said yes- they had a wheelchair and a wide walker. Jimmie came in to gather the items and sanitize them before helping me carry them to my car. There was no charge. They were so happy to help my family. They let me know about other medical equipment they had and told me to come back if we ever needed anything. They told me about their transportation program and that is the cost is out of reach the cost is negotiable. Please donate all your durable medical equipment to New Horizons so they can help our community!

If I could rate our driver Mike a ZERO or negative I stars I would have. Late, rude, shouted at me in front of my child, argumentative, condescending, professional. Had zero concern for my son or my well being, time of our appointments, trying to shame, berate and humiliate me in front of another passenger and my own child. It got so bad I recorded the trip, then paused to call the company and report him. This is a medical transport company. These drivers should be trained to treat clients with dignity, respect, provide clear Instructions, and be timely. I am a Social Worker who works with geriatric clients, some with serious health needs, and cognitive difficulties. I can say with full confidence this man needs training, and should not be driving until he receives it. I will never book this company for my own client's again, if this is the service that can be expected. I will happily use AAA MedEx for a my personal and professional needs in the future. Their driver's are prompt(usually early), courteous, safe drivers, affordable, and absolutely professional. I think Mike has forgotten that he works in a service based business that caters to the elderly, disabled, and vunerable in our community. That requires a certain personality and rapport. Perhaps he should drive for a regular taxi cab company and avoid medical transport. What I find sad is that his behavior reflects negatively towards his company. Which is sad. As a local I have used them for skilled nursing and client transport needs for years. Unfortunately I can no longer do so. I won't risk exposing a client to a person who believes that behavior toward another human being is ever acceptable. I just isn't. I actually audio recorded most of the incident so I could share it with his supervisor. I also called the company mid ride as we were so uncomfortable. That was the only bright moment of the ride as the supervisor could actually hear him, and witness herself how we were being treated. She was sincerely apologetic and assured me that I would not have this driver on our return trip home. This was a huge relief for me and my son. Thank you Terry!

Needs more support and the workers offering grants suck, gave me wrong information and led me on empowering me then letting me down. Could never get ahold of him. Had to call his boss they need more people that actually care about the people. The transportation also yelled at me when I called to cancel my ride.
